Psalms 72

1 “By Solomon.” O God, give unto the king thy decisions, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

౧సొలొమోను కీర్తన దేవా, రాజుకు నీ న్యాయవిధులను, రాకుమారుడికి నీ నీతిని తెలియజెయ్యి.

2 He shall decide for thy people with righteousness, and for thy afflicted with justice.

౨అతడు నీతిని బట్టి నీ ప్రజలకు, న్యాయవిధులను బట్టి పేదవారికి న్యాయం తీరుస్తాడు గాక.

3 The mountains shall bear peace for the people, and the hills [the same], through righteousness.

౩నీతిని బట్టి పర్వతాలు, కొండలు ప్రజలకు క్షేమం కలిగిస్తాయి గాక.

4 He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.

౪ప్రజల్లో పేదవారికి అతడు న్యాయం తీరుస్తాడు గాక. అక్కరలో ఉన్నవారి పిల్లలను రక్షించి, బాధపెట్టే వారిని నలగగొడతాడు గాక.

5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun shineth, and in the presence of the moon, throughout all generations.

౫సూర్యచంద్రులు ఉన్నంత కాలం, తరతరాల్లో ప్రజలు నీలో భయభక్తులు చూపుతారు గాక.

6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers which are dropping on the earth.

౬కోసిన గడ్డిపై కురిసే వానలాగా, భూమిని తడిపే మంచి వర్షంలాగా అతడు దిగి వస్తాడు గాక.

7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace [shall be] till the moon shall be no more.

౭అతని కాలంలో నీతిమంతులు వర్ధిల్లుతారు గాక. చంద్రుడు గతించే వరకూ క్షేమాభివృద్ధి ఉండు గాక.

8 And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

౮సముద్రం నుండి సముద్రం వరకూ, యూఫ్రటీసు నది మొదలుకుని భూదిగంతాల వరకూ అతని ఆధిపత్యం వ్యాపిస్తుంది గాక.

9 Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

౯ఎడారి ప్రజలు అతనికి లోబడతారు గాక. అతని శత్రువులు నేల మట్టి నాకుతారు గాక.

10 The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

౧౦తర్షీషు రాజులు, ద్వీపాల రాజులు కప్పం చెల్లిస్తారు గాక. షేబ రాజులు, సెబా రాజులు కానుకలు తీసుకు వస్తారు గాక.

11 Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.

౧౧రాజులందరూ అతని ఎదుట సాగిలపడతారు గాక. అన్యజనాలు అతనికి సేవ చేస్తారు గాక.

12 For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper.

౧౨ఎందుకంటే అక్కరలో ఉన్నవారు మొర పెట్టినప్పుడు అతడు వారికి సహాయం చేస్తాడు. సహాయం దొరకని పేదలను అతడు విడిపిస్తాడు.

13 He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.

౧౩నిరుపేదల పట్లా అక్కరలో ఉన్నవారి పట్లా అతడు జాలి చూపుతాడు. పేదల ప్రాణాలను అతడు రక్షిస్తాడు.

14 From wrong and violence will he deliver their soul; and precious shall their blood be in his eyes.

౧౪బలాత్కారం నుండీ హింస నుండీ అతడు వారి ప్రాణాన్ని విమోచిస్తాడు. వారి ప్రాణం అతని దృష్టికి విలువైనది.

15 And he shall live; and he will give him of the gold of Sheba: and he will pray in his behalf continually; all the time will he bless him.

౧౫రాజు చిరంజీవి అవుతాడు గాక. షేబ బంగారం అతనికి ఇస్తారు గాక. అతని క్షేమం కోసం ప్రజలు ఎప్పుడూ ప్రార్థన చేస్తారు గాక. దేవుడు రోజంతా అతణ్ణి దీవిస్తాడు గాక.

16 There shall be an abundance of corn in the land; upon the top of the mountains its fruit shall shake like [the trees of] Lebanon; and [men] shall blossom out of the city like herbs of the earth.

౧౬దేశంలో, పర్వత శిఖరాల మీదా ధాన్యం సమృద్ధిగా పండు గాక. వారి పంటలు గాలికి లెబానోను వృక్షాలలాగా ఊగుతూ ఉంటాయి గాక. పట్టణ ప్రజలు భూమి మీది పచ్చికలాగా వర్ధిల్లుతారు గాక.

17 His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.

౧౭రాజు నామం శాశ్వతంగా నిలుస్తుంది గాక. అతని పేరు సూర్యుడున్నంత కాలం నిలబడుతుంది గాక. అతనిని బట్టి ప్రజలు దీవెనలు పొందుతారు గాక. అన్యజనాలు అతడు ధన్యుడని చెప్పుకుంటారు గాక.

18 Blessed be the Lord the God, the God of Israel, who alone doth wondrous things.

౧౮ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్తుతులు పొందుతాడు గాక. ఆయన ఒక్కడే ఆశ్చర్యకార్యాలు చేసేవాడు.

19 And blessed he his glorious name for ever; and with his glory may the whole earth be filled: Amen, and Amen.

౧౯ఆయన మహిమగల నామం నిరంతరం స్తుతులు పొందుతుంది గాక. ఈ భూమి అంతా ఆయన మహిమతో నిండి ఉంటుంది గాక. ఆమేన్‌. ఆమేన్‌.
