Psalms 72
1 “By Solomon.” O God, give unto the king thy decisions, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
೧ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು; ರಾಜಕುಮಾರನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು.
2 He shall decide for thy people with righteousness, and for thy afflicted with justice.
೨ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದ ನಿನ್ನವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ತೀರ್ಪುಕೊಡಲಿ.
3 The mountains shall bear peace for the people, and the hills [the same], through righteousness.
೩ಗುಡ್ಡ ದಿನ್ನೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲವು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ, ನೀತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಸುಕ್ಷೇಮವನ್ನು ಫಲಿಸಲಿ.
4 He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.
೪ಅವನು ಬಡವರ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಿ; ದೀನರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸಲಿ; ಪ್ರಜಾಹಿಂಸಕರನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಲಿ.
5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun shineth, and in the presence of the moon, throughout all generations.
೫ಸೂರ್ಯನು, ಚಂದ್ರನು ಇರುವವರೆಗೂ, ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಲಿ.
6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers which are dropping on the earth.
೬ಹುಲ್ಲುಕೊಯ್ದ ಮೇಹುಗಾಡಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಯುವ ವೃಷ್ಟಿಯಂತೆಯೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನೆನಸುವ ಹದಮಳೆಯಂತೆಯೂ ಅವನು ಇರಲಿ.
7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace [shall be] till the moon shall be no more.
೭ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿಯು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ; ಚಂದ್ರನಿರುವವರೆಗೂ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವಿರಲಿ.
8 And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
೮ಅವನು ಸಮುದ್ರದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ವರೆಗೂ, ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಆಳಲಿ.
9 Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
೯ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಸಿಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ; ಅವನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಮಣ್ಣುಮುಕ್ಕಲಿ.
10 The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
೧೦ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಅರಸರು ಕಪ್ಪಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿ; ಶೆಬಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆಬಾ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ರಾಜರೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದೊಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿ.
11 Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.
೧೧ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗವೆರಗಲಿ; ಸರ್ವಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಲಿ.
12 For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper.
೧೨ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವ ಬಡವರನ್ನೂ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುವನು.
13 He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.
೧೩ದೀನದರಿದ್ರರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವನು.
14 From wrong and violence will he deliver their soul; and precious shall their blood be in his eyes.
೧೪ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿ, ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವನು; ಅವರ ಜೀವವು ಅವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
15 And he shall live; and he will give him of the gold of Sheba: and he will pray in his behalf continually; all the time will he bless him.
೧೫ಅವನು ಬಾಳಲಿ; ಶೆಬಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಬಂಗಾರವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಲಿ. ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯು ನಡೆಯಲಿ; ದಿನದಿನವೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿ.
16 There shall be an abundance of corn in the land; upon the top of the mountains its fruit shall shake like [the trees of] Lebanon; and [men] shall blossom out of the city like herbs of the earth.
೧೬ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಳೆಯು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ; ಪೈರುಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಮರಗಳ ಸಪ್ಪಳದಂತಿರಲಿ. ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಯಿಪಲ್ಯದಂತೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಲಿ.
17 His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.
೧೭ಅವನ ನಾಮವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಸೂರ್ಯನಿರುವವರೆಗೆ ಇರಲಿ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಧನ್ಯನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಅವನಿಗಿದ್ದ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವು ತಮಗೂ ಆಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುವವರಾಗಲಿ.
18 Blessed be the Lord the God, the God of Israel, who alone doth wondrous things.
೧೮ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ವಿತೀಯನೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು.
19 And blessed he his glorious name for ever; and with his glory may the whole earth be filled: Amen, and Amen.
೧೯ಆತನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವುಳ್ಳ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿ ಇರಲಿ; ಭೂಮಂಡಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರಲಿ. ಆಮೆನ್. ಆಮೆನ್.
20 Here are ended the prayers of David the son of Jesse.
೨೦ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಇಷಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳ ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿ.
