< Psalms 72 >
1 “By Solomon.” O God, give unto the king thy decisions, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
Abụ nke Solomọn. O Chineke, jiri ikpe ziri ezi mejupụta eze. Nyekwa nwa eze ezi omume gị.
2 He shall decide for thy people with righteousness, and for thy afflicted with justice.
Ọ ga-eji ezi omume chịa ndị gị, jiri ikpe ziri ezi chịa ndị a na-emegbu.
3 The mountains shall bear peace for the people, and the hills [the same], through righteousness.
Ka ugwu niile wetara ndị mmadụ ịba ụba; ugwu nta niile wetakwara ha mkpụrụ ezi omume.
4 He shall judge the afflicted of the people, he shall give help to the children of the needy; but he shall crush the oppressor.
Ọ ga-ekpepụta ndị a na-emegbu nʼetiti ndị mmadụ, zọpụtakwa ụmụntakịrị ndị nọ na mkpa; ọ ga-egwepịa onye mmegbu.
5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun shineth, and in the presence of the moon, throughout all generations.
Ka ọ dịgide ruo mgbe niile dịka anyanwụ na-adịgide, dịka ọnwa na-adịgidekwa ruo ọgbọ niile.
6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers which are dropping on the earth.
Ọ ga-adị ka mmiri na-ezokwasị ala ubi a sụrụ asụ, dịka mmiri ozuzo na-ede elu ala.
7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace [shall be] till the moon shall be no more.
Nʼoge ndụ ya, ka ndị ezi omume too, na-awasa; ịba ụba ga-ejupụta ebe niile ruo mgbe ọnwa agaghị adịkwa.
8 And he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
Ọ ga-achị site nʼosimiri ruo osimiri, na-esite nʼiyi ukwu. ruo na nsọtụ niile nke ụwa
9 Before him shall bend down those that dwell in the wilderness; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
Ebo niile ndị bi nʼọzara ga-akpọ isiala nye ya, ndị iro ya niile ga-abụ ndị e wedara nʼala.
10 The kings of Tharshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Ndị eze Tashish na mba niile dị nʼebe dị anya, ga-atụ ụtụ wetara ya; e, ọ bụladị ndị eze si Sheba na Seba, ga-ewetara ya ọtụtụ onyinye.
11 Yea, there shall bow down before him all kings: all nations shall serve him.
Ndị eze niile ga-akpọ isiala nye ya, mba niile ga-ejekwara ya ozi.
12 For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the afflicted also, who hath no helper.
Nʼihi na ọ ga-azọpụta ndị nọ na mkpa mgbe ha kpọkuru ya. Ọ ga-azọpụtakwa ndị ogbenye na-enweghị onye ga-enyere ha aka.
13 He will spare the poor and needy; and the souls of the needy will he assist.
Ọ ga-enwe ọmịiko nʼahụ ndị na-enweghị ike, na ndị nọ na mkpa, ọ ga-azọpụta ndị nọ na mkpa site nʼọnwụ.
14 From wrong and violence will he deliver their soul; and precious shall their blood be in his eyes.
Ọ ga-azọpụta ha site na mkpagbu na ihe ike, nʼihi na ndụ ha dị oke ọnụahịa nʼanya ya.
15 And he shall live; and he will give him of the gold of Sheba: and he will pray in his behalf continually; all the time will he bless him.
Ka ọ dị ogologo ndụ! Ka e nye ya ọlaọcha e wetara na Sheba. Ka ndị mmadụ na-ekpere ya ekpere mgbe niile, ma gọziekwa ya ogologo ụbọchị niile.
16 There shall be an abundance of corn in the land; upon the top of the mountains its fruit shall shake like [the trees of] Lebanon; and [men] shall blossom out of the city like herbs of the earth.
Ka mkpụrụ ọka jupụta nʼebe niile nʼala a; ka ha na-efufegharị nʼelu ugwu niile. Ka mkpụrụ ubi ya wasaa dịka Lebanọn; ka mmadụ jupụta nke ọma nʼobodo dịka ahịhịa ndụ nke ọhịa.
17 His name will endure for ever; in the presence of the sun his name shall flourish: and men shall bless themselves with him: all nations shall call him happy.
Ka aha ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi; ka ọ na-adịgide ruo mgbe niile dịka anyanwụ si adịgide. A ga-esite na ya gọzie mba niile, a ga-akpọ ya onye a gọziri agọzi.
18 Blessed be the Lord the God, the God of Israel, who alone doth wondrous things.
Otuto dịrị Onyenwe anyị Chineke, Chineke nke Izrel, onye naanị ya na-arụ ọrụ ebube dị iche iche.
19 And blessed he his glorious name for ever; and with his glory may the whole earth be filled: Amen, and Amen.
Otuto dịrị aha ya dị ebube ruo ebighị ebi; ka ụwa niile jupụta nʼebube ya.
20 Here are ended the prayers of David the son of Jesse.
