< Psalms 70 >

1 “To the chief musician, by David, to bring to remembrance.” O God, [arise] to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me.
Fún adarí orin. Ti Dafidi. Ẹ̀bẹ̀. Yára, Ọlọ́run, láti gbà mí là, Olúwa, wá kánkán láti ràn mí lọ́wọ́.
2 Let those that seek after my life be made ashamed and put to the blush: let those that desire my unhappiness be turned backward and put to confusion.
Kí àwọn tí ń wá ọkàn mi kí a dójútì wọ́n, kí wọn sì dààmú; kí àwọn tó ń wá ìparun mi yí ẹ̀yìn padà nínú ìtìjú.
3 Let them be turned backward in consequence of their shame, that say, Aha, aha.
Kí a pa wọ́n ní ẹ̀yìn dà fún èrè ìtìjú àwọn tí ń wí pé, “Háà! Háà!”
4 Let all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, God is great.
Ṣùgbọ́n kí àwọn tí ó ń wá ọ ó máa yọ̀ kí inú wọn kí ó sì máa dùn nípa rẹ, kí àwọn tí ó ń fẹ́ ìgbàlà rẹ máa wí pé, “Jẹ́ kí a gbé Ọlọ́run ga!”
5 But I am poor and needy, O God: come hastily unto me; my help and my deliverer art thou: O Lord, do not delay.
Ṣùgbọ́n mo jẹ́ òtòṣì àti aláìní; wa kánkán sí ọ̀dọ̀ mi, Ọlọ́run. Ìwọ ni olùrànlọ́wọ́ àti olùdáǹdè mi; Olúwa, má ṣe dúró pẹ́.
