< Psalms 70 >

1 “To the chief musician, by David, to bring to remembrance.” O God, [arise] to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me.
Kumutungamiri wokuimba. Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Chikumbiro. Kurumidzai kundiponesa, imi Mwari; Haiwa Jehovha kurumidzai kuuya mundibatsire.
2 Let those that seek after my life be made ashamed and put to the blush: let those that desire my unhappiness be turned backward and put to confusion.
Vanotsvaka upenyu hwangu ngavanyadziswe uye vakanganiswe; vose vanofarira kuparara kwangu ngavadzorwe shure vanyare.
3 Let them be turned backward in consequence of their shame, that say, Aha, aha.
Vanoti kwandiri, “Hekani waro! Hekani waro!” ngavadzorerwe shure nokuda kwenyadzi dzavo.
4 Let all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, God is great.
Asi vose vanokutsvakai ngavafare nokufarisisa mamuri; vanoda ruponeso rwenyu ngavagare vachiti, “Mwari ngaakudzwe!”
5 But I am poor and needy, O God: come hastily unto me; my help and my deliverer art thou: O Lord, do not delay.
Asi ndiri murombo nomushayiwi; uyai nokukurumidza kwandiri, imi Mwari. Imi muri mubatsiri wangu nomurwiri wangu; Haiwa Jehovha, musanonoka.
