< Psalms 70 >
1 “To the chief musician, by David, to bring to remembrance.” O God, [arise] to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me.
Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. David mah tahmen hnikhaih. Aw Sithaw, karangah na pahlong ah; Aw Angraeng, kai abomh hanah karangah angzo ah.
2 Let those that seek after my life be made ashamed and put to the blush: let those that desire my unhappiness be turned backward and put to confusion.
Ka hinghaih lak han pakrong kaminawk loe azathaih tongh o nasoe loe, anghmanghaih hoiah om o nasoe; kai raihaih paek koeh kaminawk loe hnuk amlaem o nasoe loe, palungboenghaih hoiah om o nasoe.
3 Let them be turned backward in consequence of their shame, that say, Aha, aha.
Kai hanah Aha, Aha, tiah pahnuithuih kaminawk loe azathaih hoiah amlaem o let nasoe.
4 Let all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, God is great.
Nang pakrong kaminawk boih, nang ah anghoe o nasoe loe, nawm o nasoe; na pahlonghaih koeh kaminawk mah, Sithaw loe dungzan khoek to lensawkhaih om nasoe, tiah thui o nasoe.
5 But I am poor and needy, O God: come hastily unto me; my help and my deliverer art thou: O Lord, do not delay.
Toe kai loe amtang moe, caaknaek vawt kami ah ka oh; Aw Sithaw, kai khaeah karangah angzo ah; nang loe kai bomkung hoi kai pahlongkung ah na oh; aw Angraeng, akra hmah.
