Psalms 7
1 “A Shiggayon of David, which he sang unto the Lord, concerning the affairs of Cush the Benjamite.” O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust; save me from every one of my persecutors, and deliver me:
பென்யமீனியனான கூஷின் வார்த்தையின் நிமித்தம் தாவீது யெகோவாவுக்கு பாடிய சிகாயோன் என்னும் சங்கீதம். என் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, நான் உம்மிடத்தில் தஞ்சமடைகிறேன்; என்னைத் துரத்துகின்ற அனைவரிடமிருந்தும் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றி விடுவியும்.
2 Lest he tear like a lion my soul, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.
இல்லாவிட்டால், அவர்கள் சிங்கத்தைப்போல் என்னைக் கிழித்து, என்னைத் தப்புவிக்க ஒருவருமின்றித் துண்டு துண்டாக்கிப் போடுவார்கள்.
3 O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be injustice in my hands;
என் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, அவர்கள் கூறுகிறதை நான் செய்திருந்து என் கைகள் குற்றமுடையதாய் இருந்தால்,
4 If I have recompensed him that was at peace with me with evil; If I have taken aught from my assailants without cause:
என்னுடன் சமாதானமாய் இருக்கிறவனுக்கு நான் தீமை செய்திருந்தால், அல்லது காரணமின்றி என் பகைவனைக் கொள்ளையிட்டிருந்தால்,
5 May the enemy hotly pursue my soul, and overtake it; and tread down upon the earth my life, and cause my honor to be in the dust. (Selah)
அப்பொழுது என் எதிரி என்னைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து என்னைப் பிடிக்கட்டும்; அவன் என்னைத் தரையில் தள்ளி, உயிர்போக மிதித்து தூசியிலே என்னைக் கிடக்கப்பண்ணட்டும்.
6 Arise, O Lord, in thy anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me [to] the judgment that thou hast commanded.
யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய கோபத்தில் எழும்பும்; என் எதிரிகளினுடைய கடுங்கோபத்திற்கு விரோதமாக எழுந்திடும். என் இறைவனே, விழித்தெழும்; நீதியைக் கட்டளையிடும்.
7 So shall the congregation of nations compass thee about: and for their sakes return thou to the height.
எல்லா நாட்டினரும் உம்மைச் சூழ ஒன்றுசேர்த்து நீர் உன்னதத்திலிருந்து அவர்களை ஆளுகை செய்யும்.
8 The Lord will judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity [grant] me [recompense].
யெகோவா மக்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்கட்டும். யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய நீதிக்குத் தக்கதாய் என்னை நியாயந்தீரும்; மகா உன்னதமானவரே, என் உத்தமத்திற்கு ஏற்ப எனக்கு நியாயம் செய்யும்.
9 Oh let the evil of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just, O thou, who triest the hearts and reins, O righteous God.
சிந்தனைகளையும் இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்ந்தறிகிற நீதியுள்ள இறைவனே, கொடியவர்களின் வன்செயலை ஒரு முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவாரும்; நீதியுள்ளவர்களைப் பாதுகாப்பாய் இருக்கச் செய்யும்.
10 My protection is by God, who saveth the upright in heath.
மகா உன்னதமான இறைவனே என் கேடயம்; இருதயத்தில் நேர்மையுள்ளவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார்.
11 God is a righteous judge, and a God who is indignant [with the wicked] every day.
இறைவன் நீதியுள்ள நீதிபதி; அவர் நாள்தோறும் தமது கடுங்கோபத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தும் இறைவன்.
12 If he turn not, He will whet his sword, he bendeth his bow, and maketh it ready.
கொடியவன் மனம் மாறாவிட்டால், இறைவன் தமது வாளைக் கூராக்குவார்; அவர் தமது வில்லை வளைத்து நாணேற்றுவார்.
13 Also for him he prepareth the instruments of death; he fashioneth his arrows against the persecutors.
அவர் தமது பயங்கர ஆயுதங்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்; எரிகிற அம்புகளையும் ஆயத்தமாக்குகிறார்.
14 Behold, he travaileth with wrong doing; but he hath conceived mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
தீமையினால் நிறைந்தவர்களோ பிரச்சனையைக் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, வஞ்சகத்தைப் பெற்றெடுக்கிறார்கள்.
15 He hath hollowed out a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he hath wrought.
மற்றவர்கள் விழும்படி குழியைத் தோண்டுகிறவர்களோ, தாங்களே அதற்குள் விழுகிறார்கள்.
16 His mischief will return upon his own head, and upon his own skull will his violence come down.
அவர்கள் செய்யும் தீங்கு அவர்கள் மேலேயே திரும்புகிறது; அவர்கள் வன்செயல் அவர்கள் தலைமீதே விழுகிறது.
17 I will thank the Lord according to his righteousness; and I will sing praises to the name of the Lord the Most High.
யெகோவாவினுடைய நீதியினிமித்தம் நான் அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவேன்; மகா உன்னதமான யெகோவாவின் பெயரைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடுவேன்.
