Psalms 7
1 “A Shiggayon of David, which he sang unto the Lord, concerning the affairs of Cush the Benjamite.” O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust; save me from every one of my persecutors, and deliver me:
Syggajon Dawidowe, które śpiewał Panu dla słów Chusy, syna Jemini. Panie, Boże mój! w tobie ufam; wybawże mię od wszystkich prześladowców moich, i wyzwól mię;
2 Lest he tear like a lion my soul, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.
By snać duszy mojej nie porwał jako lew, a nie rozszarpał, gdyby nie było, ktoby ją wybawił.
3 O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be injustice in my hands;
Panie, Boże mój! jeźlim to uczynił, a jeźli jest nieprawość w rękach moich;
4 If I have recompensed him that was at peace with me with evil; If I have taken aught from my assailants without cause:
Jeźlim złe oddał temu, który ze mną w pokoju mieszkał; jeźliżem nie wyrwał tego, który mię dręczył bez przyczyny:
5 May the enemy hotly pursue my soul, and overtake it; and tread down upon the earth my life, and cause my honor to be in the dust. (Selah)
Niechajże prześladuje nieprzyjaciel duszę moję, a niechaj pochwyci, i podepcze na ziemi żywot mój, a sławę moję niech zagrzebie w proch. (Sela)
6 Arise, O Lord, in thy anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me [to] the judgment that thou hast commanded.
Powstańże, Panie! w popędliwości twojej, podnieś się przeciwko wściekłości nieprzyjaciół moich, ocuć się, a obróć się ku mnie; boś ty sąd postanowił;
7 So shall the congregation of nations compass thee about: and for their sakes return thou to the height.
Tedy się do ciebie zbieży zgromadzenie narodów; dla nich tedy usiądź na wysokości.
8 The Lord will judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity [grant] me [recompense].
Pan będzie sądził narody. Osądźże mię, Panie! według sprawiedliwości mojej, i według niewinności mojej, która jest przy mnie.
9 Oh let the evil of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just, O thou, who triest the hearts and reins, O righteous God.
Niechże, proszę, ustanie złość niepobożnych, a umocnij sprawiedliwego, który doświadczasz serc i wnętrzności, o Boże sprawiedliwy!
10 My protection is by God, who saveth the upright in heath.
Bóg jest tarczą moją, który wybawia ludzi serca szczerego.
11 God is a righteous judge, and a God who is indignant [with the wicked] every day.
Bóg jest sędzią sprawiedliwym; Bóg obrusza się co dzień na niezbożnego.
12 If he turn not, He will whet his sword, he bendeth his bow, and maketh it ready.
Jeźli się nie nawróci, naostrzy miecz swój; łuk swój wyciągnął, i nagotował go.
13 Also for him he prepareth the instruments of death; he fashioneth his arrows against the persecutors.
Zgotował nań broń śmiertelną, a strzały swoje na prześladowników przyprawił.
14 Behold, he travaileth with wrong doing; but he hath conceived mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
Oto rodzi nieprawość, bo począł boleść; ale porodzi kłamstwo.
15 He hath hollowed out a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he hath wrought.
Kopał dół, i wykopał go; ale wpadnie w dół, który sam uczynił.
16 His mischief will return upon his own head, and upon his own skull will his violence come down.
Obróci się boleść jego na głowę jego, a na wierzch głowy jego nieprawość jego spadnie.
17 I will thank the Lord according to his righteousness; and I will sing praises to the name of the Lord the Most High.
Będę wysławiał Pana według sprawiedliwości jego, a będę śpiewał imieniowi Pana najwyższego.
