Psalms 7
1 “A Shiggayon of David, which he sang unto the Lord, concerning the affairs of Cush the Benjamite.” O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust; save me from every one of my persecutors, and deliver me:
Оплакване на Давида, което той пя Господу поради думите на вениаминеца Хус. Господи Боже мой, на Тебе уповавам; Спаси ме от всичките ми гонители, и избави ме;
2 Lest he tear like a lion my soul, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.
Да не би да скъса като лъв душата ми И я раздере без да се намери избавител.
3 O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be injustice in my hands;
Господи Боже мой, ако съм сторил аз това, - Ако има в ръцете ми беззаконие,
4 If I have recompensed him that was at peace with me with evil; If I have taken aught from my assailants without cause:
Ако съм въздал зло на онзи, който бе в мир с мене, Или съм обрал онзи, който ми е без причина гонител,
5 May the enemy hotly pursue my soul, and overtake it; and tread down upon the earth my life, and cause my honor to be in the dust. (Selah)
То нека подгони неприятелят душата ми и я стигне, Нека стъпче в земята живота ми. И нека повали в пръстта славата ми. (Села)
6 Arise, O Lord, in thy anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me [to] the judgment that thou hast commanded.
Стани, Господи, в гнева Си; Подигни се срещу яростта на противниците ми, И събуди се заради мене, Ти, Който се отредил съда.
7 So shall the congregation of nations compass thee about: and for their sakes return thou to the height.
И нека събраните племена те обикалят; И Ти се върни да седнеш на високо над тях.
8 The Lord will judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity [grant] me [recompense].
Господ съди племената; Съди и мене, Господи, според правдата ми; И според моето незлобие нека ми бъде.
9 Oh let the evil of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just, O thou, who triest the hearts and reins, O righteous God.
Нека се спре вече беззаконието на нечестивите; А праведният утвърди Ти, Боже праведни, Който изпитваш сърцата и вътрешностите.
10 My protection is by God, who saveth the upright in heath.
Моята защита е в Бога, Който избавя ония, които са с право сърце.
11 God is a righteous judge, and a God who is indignant [with the wicked] every day.
Бог е праведен съдия, Да! Бог Който се гневи всеки ден на нечестивия.
12 If he turn not, He will whet his sword, he bendeth his bow, and maketh it ready.
Ако се не обърне нечестивия, Той ще изостри меча Си; Запънал и приготвил е лъка Си.
13 Also for him he prepareth the instruments of death; he fashioneth his arrows against the persecutors.
Приготвил е против него и смъртоносни оръжия; Прави стрелите си огнени стрели.
14 Behold, he travaileth with wrong doing; but he hath conceived mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
Ето, нечестивият е в мъки да роди беззаконие, Зачена нечестие и роди лъжа.
15 He hath hollowed out a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he hath wrought.
Изкопал е ров и направил го дълбок; Но той сам ще падне в ямата, която направи.
16 His mischief will return upon his own head, and upon his own skull will his violence come down.
Нечестието му ще се върна на самата негова глава, И насилието му ще слезе на самото негово теме.
17 I will thank the Lord according to his righteousness; and I will sing praises to the name of the Lord the Most High.
Аз ще хваля Господа за Неговата правда, И ще възпявам името на Всевишния Господ.
