Psalms 68
1 “To the chief musician, by David, a Psalm or song.” Oh that God would arise, that his enemies might be scattered, and those that hate him might flee before him.
परमेश्वर उठ्नुभएको होस् । उहाँका शत्रुहरू तितरबितर होऊन् । उहाँलाई घृणा गर्नेहरू उहाँको सामुबाट भागून् ।
2 As smoke is driven off, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
जसरी धुवाँ उडेर जान्छन्, त्यसरी नै तिनीहरूलाई उडाउनुहोस् । जसरी आगोको नजिक मैनबत्ति पग्लिन्छ, त्यसरी नै दुष्टहरू परमेश्वरको उपस्थितिमा नाश होऊन् ।
3 But the righteous shall rejoice; they shall exult before God: yea, they shall be exceedingly joyful.
तर धर्मीहरू खुसी होऊन् । तिनीहरू परमेश्वरको सामु ज्यादै खुसी होऊन् । तिनीहरू आनन्दित होऊन् र खुसी होऊन् ।
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name; extol him who rideth upon the heavens: the Everlasting is his name, and rejoice before him.
परमेश्वरको स्तुति गाओ । उहाँको नाउँको स्तुति गाओ । यर्दन नदीको बेसीको मैदानमा सवार हुनुहुनेको निम्ति स्तुति गाओ । उहाँको नाउँ परमप्रभु हो । उहाँको सामु आनन्दित होओ ।
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
अनाथहरूका बुबा, विधवाहरूका न्यायकर्ता पवित्र स्थानमा बास गर्नुहुने परमेश्वर नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
6 God places those who are solitary in the midst of their families: he bringeth out those who are bound unto happiness; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
एक्लो व्यक्तिलाई परमेश्वरले परिवार दिनुहुन्छ । उहाँले कैदीहरूलाई गीत गाउँदै बाहिर आउन दिनुहुन्छ । तर विद्रोहीहरूचाहिं सुख्खा जमिनमा बस्छन् ।
7 O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst tread along through the wilderness—Selah—
हे परमेश्वर, जब तपाईं आफ्ना मानसिहरूका अघि जानुभयो, जब तपाईं उजाडस्थानमा हिंड्नुभयो, सेला
8 The earth quaked, also the heavens dropped at the presence of God, yea, this Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
तब पृथ्वी काम्यो । परमेश्वरको उपस्थितिमा, उहाँ सियोनमा आउनुहुँदा परमेश्वरको उपस्थितिमा, इस्राएलका परमेश्वर, परमेश्वरको उपस्थितिमा, आकाशले पनि वृष्टि खन्यायो ।
9 Rain of beneficence didst thou pour down, O God, whereby thou didst truly strengthen thy heritage, when it was weary.
हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले प्रशस्त झरी पठाउनुभयो । तपाईंको उत्तराधिकार थकित हुँदा तपाईंले त्यसलाई बलियो पार्नुभयो ।
10 Thy assembly dwelt therein: thou didst prepare it with thy goodness for the afflicted [people]. O God,
तपाईंका मानिसहरू यसमा बसोवास गरे । हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले आफ्नो भलाइबाट गरीबहरूलाई दिनुभयो ।
11 The Lord gave [happy] tidings; they are published by the female messengers, a numerous host.
परमप्रभुले आदेश दिनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई घोषणा गर्नेहरू ठुला फौज थिए ।
12 The kings of the armies flee away—flee away: yet she that tarried at home divideth the spoil.
फौजका राजाहरू भाग्छन्, तिनीहरू भाग्छन्, र घरमा पर्खिरहने स्त्रीहरूले लुटको माल बाँड्छन्
13 When ye lie still between the folds [of your cattle], [ye will be like] the wings of the dove covered with sliver, and her pinions shining with flaming gold.
चाँदीले ढाकिएको ढुकुरहरू, पखेटाहरू सुनले ढाकिएका । तिमीहरूमध्ये कोही भेडाका बगालहरूका माझमा बस्यौ, तिमीहरूले किन यसो गर्यौ?
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in the midst of her, then even in darkness shone light [as pure] as snow.
सर्वशक्तिमान्ले त्यहाँ राजाहरूलाई तितरबितर पार्नुभयो, त्यो सल्मोन डाँडामाथि हिउँ परेको बेलाजस्तै थियो ।
15 A mountain of God is the mount of Bashan; many peaks hath the mount of Bashan.
बाशानको पहाडी देशचाहिं शक्तिशाली पहाड हो । बाशानको पहाडी देश एउटा अग्लो पहाड हो ।
16 Why watch ye enviously, ye many-peaked mountains, yonder mountain which God hath chosen for his residence? yea, the Lord will also dwell [there] for ever.
हे उच्च पहाडी देश, तँ किन डाहले हेर्छस्, त्यो पहाड जसमा परमेश्वर बस्ने इच्छा गर्नुहुन्छ? वास्तवमा, परमप्रभु सदासर्वदा त्यसमा बास गर्नुहुन्छ ।
17 The chariots of God are two myriads; thousands of angels [follow him]: the Lord is among them: so is Sinai holy [among mountains].
परमेश्वरका रथहरू बीसौं हजार, हजारौं हजार छन् । परमप्रभु सीनैमा जस्तै पवित्र स्थानमा तिनीहरूमा माझमा हुनुहुन्छ ।
18 Thou didst ascend on high, lead away captives, receive gifts among men, yea, even the rebellious, to dwell among them. O Lord God.
तपाईं उच्चमा उक्लनुभएको छ । तपाईंले कैदीहरूलाई डोर्याउनुभएको छ । मानिसहरूका माझबाट, तपाईंको विरुद्धमा युद्ध लड्नेहरूबाट समेत तपाईंले उपहार ग्रहण गर्नुभएको छ, ताकि हे परमप्रभु परमेश्वर, तपाईं त्यहाँ बास गर्नुभएको होस् ।
19 Blessed be the Lord; day by day he loadeth us [with benefits]; our God is our salvation. (Selah)
परमप्रभु धन्यको होऊन्, जसले दिनदिने हाम्रो बोझ उठाउनुहुन्छ । परमेश्वर जो हाम्रो उद्धार हुनुहुन्छ । सेला
20 Our God is to us the God of salvation: and by the Eternal the Lord are the escapes from death.
हाम्रो परमेश्वर बचाउनुहुने परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ । हामीलाई मृत्युबाट बचाउन सक्षम परमप्रभु परमेश्वर नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
21 But God will crush the head of his enemies, the hairy skull of him who walketh in his guiltiness.
तर परमेश्वरले आफ्नो शत्रुहरूका शिरहरूमा, उहाँको विरुद्धमा हिंड्नेहरूका कपाल भएका खप्परमा हिर्काउनुहुनेछ ।
22 The Lord hath said, From Bashan will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “म आफ्ना शत्रुहरूलाई बाशानबाट फर्काएर ल्याउनेछु । तिनीहरूलाई समुद्रको गहिराइबाट म फर्काएर ल्याउनेछु ।
23 In order that thou mayest wade with thy feet in blood, feeding the tongue of thy dogs from the enemies' blood.
ताकि आफ्ना खुट्टा रगतमा चोपेर तिमीहरूले आफ्ना शत्रुहरूलाई कुल्चनेछौ र तिमीहरूका शत्रुहरूबाट तिमीहरूका कुकुरहरूका जिब्राहरूले पनि आफ्नो भाग पाऊन् ।”
24 Men see thy goings forth, O God! the goings forth of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
हे परमेश्वर, पवित्र स्थानमा तपाईंको शोभा-यात्रा, मेरो राजा, मेरो परमेश्वरको शोभा-यात्रा तिनीहरूले देखेका छन् ।
25 First come singers, then follow players on instruments, in the midst of maidens playing on timbrels.
पहिले गायकहरू गए, त्यसपछि वद्यवादकहरू र बिचमा अविवाहित केटीहरूले खैंजडी बजाउँदै गए ।
26 In assemblies bless ye God, [praise] the Lord, ye sprung from Israel's fountain.
सभाहरूमा परमेश्वरको प्रशंसा गर । तिमीहरू जो इस्राएलको मूलका हौ, परमप्रभुको स्तुति गर ।
27 There Benjamin the youngest leadeth them on, the princes of Judah in purple robes, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
त्यहाँ सबैभन्दा सानो कुल बेन्यामीन, त्यसपछि यहूदाका अगुवाहरू र तिनीहरूका दलहरू, जबूलुनका अगुवाहरू र नप्तालीका अगुवाहरू छन् ।
28 Thy God hath ordained the rule to thee: strengthen, O God, what thou hast wrought for us.
हे इस्राएल, तेरो परमेश्वरले तेरो सामर्थ्यको आदेश दिनुभएको छ । हामीलाई तपाईंको शक्ति प्रकट गर्नुहोस्, हे परमेश्वर, जसरी तपाईंले विगतका समयहरूमा प्रकट गर्नुभएको छ ।
29 Because of thy temple over Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
यरूशलेमको तपाईंको मन्दिरबाट हामीलाई तपाईंको शक्ति प्रकट गर्नुहोस्, जहाँ राजाहरूले तपाईंलाई उपहारहरू ल्याउँछन् ।
30 Rebuke the wild beasts hiding among the reeds, the troops of steers among the calves of nations, that hasten along with presents of silver. He scattereth nations that are eager for the fight.
नर्कटका जङ्गली पशुहरूका विरुद्धमा, साँढेहरू र बाछाहरूजस्ता मानिसहरूका भीडको विरुद्धमा कराउनुहोस् । तिनीहरूलाई होच्याउनुहोस् र तपाईंलाई उपहारहरू ल्याउने तिनीहरूलाई बनाउनुहोस् । युद्ध गर्न मन पराउने मानिसहरूलाई तितरबितर पार्नुहोस् ।
31 Nobles will come out of Egypt: Ethiopia will stretch forth eagerly her hands unto God.
मिश्रदेशबाट शासकहरू बाहिर आउनेछन् । कूशले आफ्नै हातहरूले परमेश्वरको नजिक जान हतार गर्नेछ ।
32 Kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing praises unto the Lord: (Selah)
हे पृथ्वीका राज्यहरू हो, परमेश्वरको निम्ति गाओ । सेला पमरप्रभुको स्तुति गाओ ।
33 To him who rideth over the highest heavens, of ancient days: hear! he sendeth forth his voice, the voice of might.
आकाशका स्वर्गमा सवारहुनुहुनेलाई, जुन प्राचीन समयदेखि अस्तित्वमा छ । हेर, शक्तिले उहाँले आफ्नो आवाज उचाल्नुहुन्छ ।
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
परमेश्वरलाई बलको निम्ति श्रेय देओ । इस्राएलमा उहाँको ऐश्वर्य छ र उहाँको बल आकाशमा छ ।
35 Thou art tremendous, O God, from thy holy residences: O God of Israel, [thou art] he that givest strength and power unto [thy] people. Blessed be God.
हे परमेश्वर, तपाईं आफ्नो पवित्र स्थानमा भयवह हुनुहुन्छ । इस्राएलको परमेश्वर जसले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई बल र शक्ति दिनुहुन्छ ।
