Psalms 68
1 “To the chief musician, by David, a Psalm or song.” Oh that God would arise, that his enemies might be scattered, and those that hate him might flee before him.
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का भजन, गीत परमेश्वर उठे, उसके शत्रु तितर-बितर हों; और उसके बैरी उसके सामने से भाग जाएँ!
2 As smoke is driven off, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
२जैसे धुआँ उड़ जाता है, वैसे ही तू उनको उड़ा दे; जैसे मोम आग की आँच से पिघल जाता है, वैसे ही दुष्ट लोग परमेश्वर की उपस्थिति से नाश हों।
3 But the righteous shall rejoice; they shall exult before God: yea, they shall be exceedingly joyful.
३परन्तु धर्मी आनन्दित हों; वे परमेश्वर के सामने प्रफुल्लित हों; वे आनन्द में मगन हों!
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name; extol him who rideth upon the heavens: the Everlasting is his name, and rejoice before him.
४परमेश्वर का गीत गाओ, उसके नाम का भजन गाओ; जो निर्जल देशों में सवार होकर चलता है, उसके लिये सड़क बनाओ; उसका नाम यहोवा है, इसलिए तुम उसके सामने प्रफुल्लित हो!
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
५परमेश्वर अपने पवित्र धाम में, अनाथों का पिता और विधवाओं का न्यायी है।
6 God places those who are solitary in the midst of their families: he bringeth out those who are bound unto happiness; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
६परमेश्वर अनाथों का घर बसाता है; और बन्दियों को छुड़ाकर सम्पन्न करता है; परन्तु विद्रोहियों को सूखी भूमि पर रहना पड़ता है।
7 O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst tread along through the wilderness—Selah—
७हे परमेश्वर, जब तू अपनी प्रजा के आगे-आगे चलता था, जब तू निर्जल भूमि में सेना समेत चला, (सेला)
8 The earth quaked, also the heavens dropped at the presence of God, yea, this Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
८तब पृथ्वी काँप उठी, और आकाश भी परमेश्वर के सामने टपकने लगा, उधर सीनै पर्वत परमेश्वर, हाँ इस्राएल के परमेश्वर के सामने काँप उठा।
9 Rain of beneficence didst thou pour down, O God, whereby thou didst truly strengthen thy heritage, when it was weary.
९हे परमेश्वर, तूने बहुतायत की वर्षा की; तेरा निज भाग तो बहुत सूखा था, परन्तु तूने उसको हरा भरा किया है;
10 Thy assembly dwelt therein: thou didst prepare it with thy goodness for the afflicted [people]. O God,
१०तेरा झुण्ड उसमें बसने लगा; हे परमेश्वर तूने अपनी भलाई से दीन जन के लिये तैयारी की है।
11 The Lord gave [happy] tidings; they are published by the female messengers, a numerous host.
११प्रभु आज्ञा देता है, तब शुभ समाचार सुनानेवालियों की बड़ी सेना हो जाती है।
12 The kings of the armies flee away—flee away: yet she that tarried at home divideth the spoil.
१२अपनी-अपनी सेना समेत राजा भागे चले जाते हैं, और गृहस्थिन लूट को बाँट लेती है।
13 When ye lie still between the folds [of your cattle], [ye will be like] the wings of the dove covered with sliver, and her pinions shining with flaming gold.
१३क्या तुम भेड़शालाओं के बीच लेट जाओगे? और ऐसी कबूतरी के समान होंगे जिसके पंख चाँदी से और जिसके पर पीले सोने से मढ़े हुए हों?
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in the midst of her, then even in darkness shone light [as pure] as snow.
१४जब सर्वशक्तिमान ने उसमें राजाओं को तितर-बितर किया, तब मानो सल्मोन पर्वत पर हिम पड़ा।
15 A mountain of God is the mount of Bashan; many peaks hath the mount of Bashan.
१५बाशान का पहाड़ परमेश्वर का पहाड़ है; बाशान का पहाड़ बहुत शिखरवाला पहाड़ है।
16 Why watch ye enviously, ye many-peaked mountains, yonder mountain which God hath chosen for his residence? yea, the Lord will also dwell [there] for ever.
१६परन्तु हे शिखरवाले पहाड़ों, तुम क्यों उस पर्वत को घूरते हो, जिसे परमेश्वर ने अपने वास के लिये चाहा है, और जहाँ यहोवा सदा वास किए रहेगा?
17 The chariots of God are two myriads; thousands of angels [follow him]: the Lord is among them: so is Sinai holy [among mountains].
१७परमेश्वर के रथ बीस हजार, वरन् हजारों हजार हैं; प्रभु उनके बीच में है, जैसे वह सीनै पवित्रस्थान में है।
18 Thou didst ascend on high, lead away captives, receive gifts among men, yea, even the rebellious, to dwell among them. O Lord God.
१८तू ऊँचे पर चढ़ा, तू लोगों को बँधुवाई में ले गया; तूने मनुष्यों से, वरन् हठीले मनुष्यों से भी भेंटें लीं, जिससे यहोवा परमेश्वर उनमें वास करे।
19 Blessed be the Lord; day by day he loadeth us [with benefits]; our God is our salvation. (Selah)
१९धन्य है प्रभु, जो प्रतिदिन हमारा बोझ उठाता है; वही हमारा उद्धारकर्ता परमेश्वर है। (सेला)
20 Our God is to us the God of salvation: and by the Eternal the Lord are the escapes from death.
२०वही हमारे लिये बचानेवाला परमेश्वर ठहरा; यहोवा प्रभु मृत्यु से भी बचाता है।
21 But God will crush the head of his enemies, the hairy skull of him who walketh in his guiltiness.
२१निश्चय परमेश्वर अपने शत्रुओं के सिर पर, और जो अधर्म के मार्ग पर चलता रहता है, उसका बाल भरी खोपड़ी पर मार-मार के उसे चूर करेगा।
22 The Lord hath said, From Bashan will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
२२प्रभु ने कहा है, “मैं उन्हें बाशान से निकाल लाऊँगा, मैं उनको गहरे सागर के तल से भी फेर ले आऊँगा,
23 In order that thou mayest wade with thy feet in blood, feeding the tongue of thy dogs from the enemies' blood.
२३कि तू अपने पाँव को लहू में डुबोए, और तेरे शत्रु तेरे कुत्तों का भाग ठहरें।”
24 Men see thy goings forth, O God! the goings forth of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
२४हे परमेश्वर तेरी शोभा-यात्राएँ देखी गई, मेरे परमेश्वर और राजा की शोभा यात्रा पवित्रस्थान में जाते हुए देखी गई।
25 First come singers, then follow players on instruments, in the midst of maidens playing on timbrels.
२५गानेवाले आगे-आगे और तारवाले बाजों के बजानेवाले पीछे-पीछे गए, चारों ओर कुमारियाँ डफ बजाती थीं।
26 In assemblies bless ye God, [praise] the Lord, ye sprung from Israel's fountain.
२६सभाओं में परमेश्वर का, हे इस्राएल के सोते से निकले हुए लोगों, प्रभु का धन्यवाद करो।
27 There Benjamin the youngest leadeth them on, the princes of Judah in purple robes, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
२७पहला बिन्यामीन जो सबसे छोटा गोत्र है, फिर यहूदा के हाकिम और उनकी सभा और जबूलून और नप्ताली के हाकिम हैं।
28 Thy God hath ordained the rule to thee: strengthen, O God, what thou hast wrought for us.
२८तेरे परमेश्वर ने तेरी सामर्थ्य को बनाया है, हे परमेश्वर, अपनी सामर्थ्य को हम पर प्रगट कर, जैसा तूने पहले प्रगट किया है।
29 Because of thy temple over Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
२९तेरे मन्दिर के कारण जो यरूशलेम में हैं, राजा तेरे लिये भेंट ले आएँगे।
30 Rebuke the wild beasts hiding among the reeds, the troops of steers among the calves of nations, that hasten along with presents of silver. He scattereth nations that are eager for the fight.
३०नरकटों में रहनेवाले जंगली पशुओं को, सांडों के झुण्ड को और देश-देश के बछड़ों को झिड़क दे। वे चाँदी के टुकड़े लिये हुए प्रणाम करेंगे; जो लोगे युद्ध से प्रसन्न रहते हैं, उनको उसने तितर-बितर किया है।
31 Nobles will come out of Egypt: Ethiopia will stretch forth eagerly her hands unto God.
३१मिस्र से अधिकारी आएँगे; कूशी अपने हाथों को परमेश्वर की ओर फुर्ती से फैलाएँगे।
32 Kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing praises unto the Lord: (Selah)
३२हे पृथ्वी पर के राज्य-राज्य के लोगों परमेश्वर का गीत गाओ; प्रभु का भजन गाओ, (सेला)
33 To him who rideth over the highest heavens, of ancient days: hear! he sendeth forth his voice, the voice of might.
३३जो सबसे ऊँचे सनातन स्वर्ग में सवार होकर चलता है; देखो वह अपनी वाणी सुनाता है, वह गम्भीर वाणी शक्तिशाली है।
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
३४परमेश्वर की सामर्थ्य की स्तुति करो, उसका प्रताप इस्राएल पर छाया हुआ है, और उसकी सामर्थ्य आकाशमण्डल में है।
35 Thou art tremendous, O God, from thy holy residences: O God of Israel, [thou art] he that givest strength and power unto [thy] people. Blessed be God.
३५हे परमेश्वर, तू अपने पवित्रस्थानों में भययोग्य है, इस्राएल का परमेश्वर ही अपनी प्रजा को सामर्थ्य और शक्ति का देनेवाला है। परमेश्वर धन्य है।
