< Psalms 68 >
1 “To the chief musician, by David, a Psalm or song.” Oh that God would arise, that his enemies might be scattered, and those that hate him might flee before him.

2 As smoke is driven off, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
Takhi mah hmaikhue hmuh phaeng baktih toengah, nihcae to hmut phaeng ah; hmai pongah amkaw dui samdai baktiah, kasae kaminawk loe Sithaw hmaa ah anghma angtaa o nasoe.
3 But the righteous shall rejoice; they shall exult before God: yea, they shall be exceedingly joyful.
Toe katoeng kaminawk loe anghoe o nasoe; nihcae loe Sithaw hmaa ah oep o nasoe; ue, paroeai anghoe o nasoe.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name; extol him who rideth upon the heavens: the Everlasting is his name, and rejoice before him.
Sithaw khaeah laasah oh; ahmin saphawhaih laa to sah oh; tamai nuiah angthueng anih to pakoeh oh; anih ih ahmin loe YAH, anih hmaa ah anghoe oh.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
Anih loe ampa tawn ai kaminawk hanah ampa ah oh moe, lamhmainawk bomkung ah oh, Sithaw loe a ohhaih hmuenciim ah oh.
6 God places those who are solitary in the midst of their families: he bringeth out those who are bound unto happiness; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
Sithaw mah angmabueng kaom kami to imthong ah angcoengsak; thongkrah kaminawk doeh a loihsak; toe lok angaek thaih kaminawk loe prae karoem ah oh o.
7 O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst tread along through the wilderness—Selah—
Aw Sithaw, nang loe nangmah ih kaminawk hmaa ah na caeh moe, praezaek hoi na caeh haih naah, (Selah)
8 The earth quaked, also the heavens dropped at the presence of God, yea, this Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
Sithaw hmaa ah, long to anghuenh, van hoiah kho angzoh; Sinai mae loe Sithaw, Israel Sithaw hmaa ah anghuenh.
9 Rain of beneficence didst thou pour down, O God, whereby thou didst truly strengthen thy heritage, when it was weary.
Aw Sithaw, nangmah pop parai ah kho nang zohsak; thazai sut na qawktoep kaminawk to na bomh boeh.
10 Thy assembly dwelt therein: thou didst prepare it with thy goodness for the afflicted [people]. O God,
Nangmah ih kaminawk loe athung ah oh o; Aw Sithaw, na angraenghaih thung hoiah amtang kaminawk to na pacah.
11 The Lord gave [happy] tidings; they are published by the female messengers, a numerous host.
Angraeng mah thuih ih lok taphong kaminawk loe noih o parai:
12 The kings of the armies flee away—flee away: yet she that tarried at home divideth the spoil.
siangpahrangnawk ih misatuh kaminawk loe, tawt hoiah cawnh o; im ah kaom kaminawk loe lak ih hmuenmaenawk to amzet o.
13 When ye lie still between the folds [of your cattle], [ye will be like] the wings of the dove covered with sliver, and her pinions shining with flaming gold.
Nangcae loe mae salakah na iih o cadoeh, sumkanglung hoi pazut ih pahuu pakhraeh baktiah na om o ueloe, amuinawk doeh sui rong baktiah ampha tih.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in the midst of her, then even in darkness shone light [as pure] as snow.
Thacak Angraeng mah siangpahrangnawk prae thungah anghaehsak phang naah, Salmon mae nuiah dantui kanglung baktiah oh o.
15 A mountain of God is the mount of Bashan; many peaks hath the mount of Bashan.
Sithaw ih mae loe Bashan mae baktiah oh; kasang mae doeh Bashan mae baktiah ni oh.
16 Why watch ye enviously, ye many-peaked mountains, yonder mountain which God hath chosen for his residence? yea, the Lord will also dwell [there] for ever.
Maesangnawk, athung ah oh hanah Sithaw mah qoih ih mae; ue, dungzan khoek to Angraeng ohhaih mae to, tih hanah uthaih hoiah na khet o loe?
17 The chariots of God are two myriads; thousands of angels [follow him]: the Lord is among them: so is Sinai holy [among mountains].
Sithaw misatukhaih hrangleeng loe sang pumphaeto oh, vankaminawk loe sangto pacoeng sangto oh o; Angraeng loe nihcae salakah oh, Sinai mae loe angmah ih hmuenciim ah oh.
18 Thou didst ascend on high, lead away captives, receive gifts among men, yea, even the rebellious, to dwell among them. O Lord God.
Nang loe hmuensang ah na dawh tahang moe, misong ah naeh ih kaminawk to na hoih tahang; ue, Angraeng Sithaw nihcae salakah oh thaih hanah, kaminawk han khue ai, angaek thaih kaminawk han doeh, tangqum to na talawk pae.
19 Blessed be the Lord; day by day he loadeth us [with benefits]; our God is our salvation. (Selah)
Ni thokkruek aicae ih hmuenzit phaw Angraeng, aicae pahlongkung, Sithaw loe tahamhoihaih om nasoe. (Selah)
20 Our God is to us the God of salvation: and by the Eternal the Lord are the escapes from death.
Anih loe aicae ih Sithaw, pahlonghaih Sithaw ah oh; Angraeng Sithaw loe duekhaih thung hoi loihaih ah oh.
21 But God will crush the head of his enemies, the hairy skull of him who walketh in his guiltiness.
A misanawk ih lu, zaehaih sah kaminawk ih sam kathah lunawk to, caeh taak ai ah Sithaw mah atii tih.
22 The Lord hath said, From Bashan will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
Angraeng mah, nihcae to Bashan hoi kang zoh haih let han, kaimah ih kaminawk to kathuk tuipui thung hoiah kang hoih let han,
23 In order that thou mayest wade with thy feet in blood, feeding the tongue of thy dogs from the enemies' blood.
na misanawk ih athii to khok hoiah na cawh ueloe, nang ih uinawk mah doeh athii to palaek o tih, tiah thuih.
24 Men see thy goings forth, O God! the goings forth of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
Aw Sithaw, hmuenciim ah nang zohhaih to nihcae mah hnuk o boeh, ka Sithaw, ka Siangpahrang angzohhaih to nihcae mah hnuk o boeh.
25 First come singers, then follow players on instruments, in the midst of maidens playing on timbrels.
Laasah kaminawk loe hmabang ah caeh o, katoeng tamoi congca kruek kaminawk hoi nihcae salakah cingceng bop tanglanawk loe, anih hnuk ah bang o.
26 In assemblies bless ye God, [praise] the Lord, ye sprung from Israel's fountain.
Israel kaminawk, kami pop amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah, Sithaw to tahamhoihaih paek oh.
27 There Benjamin the youngest leadeth them on, the princes of Judah in purple robes, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
Benjamin acaeng zetta thung hoi ih nihcae zaehoikung, Judah ih angraengnawk, Zebulun ih angraengnawk hoi Nephtali ih angraengnawk to athum o.
28 Thy God hath ordained the rule to thee: strengthen, O God, what thou hast wrought for us.
Aw Sithaw, thacaksak ah, Sithaw, kaicae khae na sak ih baktih toengah, na thacakhaih to na patuek ah.
29 Because of thy temple over Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
Na tempul loe Jerusalem ah oh pongah, siangpahrangnawk mah nang khaeah tangqum sin o nasoe.
30 Rebuke the wild beasts hiding among the reeds, the troops of steers among the calves of nations, that hasten along with presents of silver. He scattereth nations that are eager for the fight.
Tuu thung ih kasan moinawk, maitaw taenawk hoi kaminawk ih maitaw caanawk to thuitaek ah, kami boih mah sumkanglung sin o nasoe loe, mi tlim ah om o nasoe; misa koeh kaminawk to anghaehsak phang ah.
31 Nobles will come out of Egypt: Ethiopia will stretch forth eagerly her hands unto God.
Laicaehnawk loe Izip prae thung hoiah angzo o tih; Ethiopia loe Sithaw khaeah ban payangh ueloe, ang paek tih.
32 Kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing praises unto the Lord: (Selah)
Long ih praenawk, Sithaw khaeah laasah oh; Angraeng saphawhaih laa to sah oh, (Selah)
33 To him who rideth over the highest heavens, of ancient days: hear! he sendeth forth his voice, the voice of might.
tangsuek hoi vannawk nui ih van angthueng, Anih khaeah, saphawhaih laa to sah oh; khenah, anih mah lok tacawtsak naah, thacak parai lok ah angcoeng.
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.
Sithaw loe thacak, tiah thui oh; a lensawkhaih loe Israel caanawk nuiah oh moe, a thacakhaih doeh tamai nuiah amtueng.
35 Thou art tremendous, O God, from thy holy residences: O God of Israel, [thou art] he that givest strength and power unto [thy] people. Blessed be God.
Aw Sithaw, kaciim angmah ih hmuenciimnawk thungah kaom nang loe zitthoh; Israel Sithaw loe, angmah ih kaminawk hanah thacakhaih hoi sakthaihaih paekkung ah oh. Sithaw loe tahamhoihaih om nasoe!
