1 “To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm or song.” May God be gracious unto us, and bless us; may he cause his face to shine upon us. (Selah)
(Til sangmesteren. Med strengespil. En salme. En sang.) Gud være os nådig og velsigne os, han lade sit Ansigt lyse over os (Sela)
2 That upon earth men may know thy way, among all nations thy salvation.
for at din Vej må kendes på Jorden, din Frelse blandt alle Folk.
3 The people will thank thee, O God; the people, all of them together, will thank thee.
Folkeslag skal takke dig, Gud, alle Folkeslag takke dig;
4 Nations will rejoice and sing for joy: when thou judgest the people righteously, and guidest the nations upon earth. (Selah)
Folkefærd skal glædes og juble, thi med Retfærd dømmer du Folkeslag, leder Folkefærd på Jorden, (Sela)
5 The people will thank thee, O God; the people, all of them together, will thank thee.
Folkeslag skal takke dig Gud, alle Folkeslag takke dig!
6 The earth yieldeth her products: [yea, ] God, our own God, bless us.
Landet har givet sin Grøde, Gud, vor Gud, velsigne os,
7 God will bless us: and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
Gud velsigne os, så den vide Jord må frygte ham!
