Psalms 65
1 “To the chief musician, a psalm [and] song of David.” For thee praise is waiting, O God, in Zion: and unto thee shall vows be paid.
Para el director del coro. Un salmo de David. Una canción. Dios, tú mereces ser alabado y en Sión cumpliremos las promesas que te hemos hecho.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee all flesh shall come.
Tú escuchas nuestras oraciones y todos acuden a ti.
3 The iniquitous things have become too mighty for me: our transgressions—these wilt thou wipe away.
Aunque nos estemos ahogando en nuestros pecados y desobediencia, tú nos perdonas.
4 Happy is he whom thou choosest, and causest to approach, that he may dwell in thy courts: let us be satisfied with the happiness of thy house, the holiness of thy temple.
Felices los que tú eliges para que estén cerca de ti, los que viven en tus cortes. ¡Nos deleitamos con las bendiciones que recibimos en tu casa, tu Santo Templo!
5 With terrific deeds in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the sea, that are far away;
En tu bondad nos respondes a través de las cosas maravillosas que haces, oh Dios, por nuestra salvación. Todos los habitantes de la tierra pueden confiar en ti, incluso los que navegan en océanos lejanos.
6 Who setteth firmly the mountains by his power, who is girded with might;
Tú hiciste las montañas con tu poder, porque eres fuerte.
7 Who assuageth the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of nations.
Tú calmas los mares embravecidos y el fuerte oleaje. Silencias el ruido que causan las naciones.
8 And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid of thy wondrous signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening thou causest to rejoice.
Todos, incluso los que viven lejos, se maravillan de tus maravillas, de Este a Oeste todos cantan de alegría.
9 Thou hast thought of the earth, and waterest her abundantly; thou greatly enrichest her; the brook of God is full of water: thou preparest their corn, when thou hast thus prepared her.
Tú cuidas de la tierra y la riegas con la lluvia. Haces que produzca fruto. Dios, tu río está lleno de agua para hacer crecer el grano. Así lo has hecho.
10 Watering her furrows abundantly, smoothing down her ridges, thou softenest her with showers; thou blessest her growth.
Tú llenas de agua los surcos del arado y suavizas las crestas. Así también bendices las cosechas.
11 Thou hast crowned the year of thy goodness; and thy tracks drop fatness:
Tú haces que en la mejor temporada del año se produzca una cosecha maravillosa, y llenas los carros con bienes.
12 The pastures of the wilderness are dropping [with plenty]: and the hills are girt with gladness.
Los pastos del desierto crecen abundantes, y las laderas se visten de flores brillantes.
13 The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are enveloped with corn: men shout for joy, [yea, ] they also sing.
Los prados se cubren de rebaños de ovejas y los valles con campos de trigo. Todo canta de alegría triunfante.
