< Psalms 65 >
1 “To the chief musician, a psalm [and] song of David.” For thee praise is waiting, O God, in Zion: and unto thee shall vows be paid.
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Oluyimba, Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Osaanira okutenderezebwanga, Ayi Katonda, ali mu Sayuuni; tunaatuukiririzanga obweyamo bwaffe gy’oli.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee all flesh shall come.
Ayi ggwe awulira okusaba kw’abantu bo, abantu bonna banajjanga gy’oli olw’ebibi byabwe.
3 The iniquitous things have become too mighty for me: our transgressions—these wilt thou wipe away.
Ebibi byaffe bwe byatusukkirira, n’otutangiririra.
4 Happy is he whom thou choosest, and causest to approach, that he may dwell in thy courts: let us be satisfied with the happiness of thy house, the holiness of thy temple.
Alina omukisa oyo gw’olonda n’omusembeza okumpi naawe, abeerenga mu mpya zo. Tunaamalibwanga ebirungi eby’omu nnyumba yo; eby’omu Yeekaalu yo entukuvu.
5 With terrific deeds in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the sea, that are far away;
Otwanukula n’ebikolwa byo eby’obutuukirivu eby’entiisa n’otulokola, Ayi Katonda ow’obulokozi bwaffe; ggwe ssuubi ly’abo abali mu nsi yonna n’abo bonna abali ewala mu nnyanja zonna,
6 Who setteth firmly the mountains by his power, who is girded with might;
ggwe, eyakola ensozi n’obuyinza bwo, n’ozinyweza n’amaanyi go,
7 Who assuageth the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of nations.
ggwe, asirisa okusiikuuka kw’ennyanja, n’okkakkanya okwetabula kw’amayengo gaayo, era ggw’okkakkanya okwegugunga kw’amawanga.
8 And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid of thy wondrous signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening thou causest to rejoice.
Abo bonna ababeera ewala balaba ne batya ebyewuunyo byo; ne bakuyimbira ennyimba ez’essanyu okuva ku makya okutuusa akawungeezi.
9 Thou hast thought of the earth, and waterest her abundantly; thou greatly enrichest her; the brook of God is full of water: thou preparest their corn, when thou hast thus prepared her.
Ensi ogirabirira n’ogifukirira n’egimuka nnyo. Emigga gya Katonda gijjudde amazzi, okuwa abantu emmere ey’empeke, kubanga bw’otyo bwe wakiteekateeka.
10 Watering her furrows abundantly, smoothing down her ridges, thou softenest her with showers; thou blessest her growth.
Otonnyesa enkuba mu nnimiro, n’ojjuza ebitaba byamu; n’ogonza ettaka, ebibala by’omu nsi n’obiwa omukisa.
11 Thou hast crowned the year of thy goodness; and thy tracks drop fatness:
Ofundikira omwaka n’amakungula amangi, ebigaali ne bigenda nga byetisse ebibala nga bikubyeko.
12 The pastures of the wilderness are dropping [with plenty]: and the hills are girt with gladness.
Ebifo awali omuddo mu ddungu bijjula amazzi, n’obusozi ne bulabika bulungi nga bweyagala.
13 The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are enveloped with corn: men shout for joy, [yea, ] they also sing.
Amalundiro gajjula ebisibo, n’ebiwonvu ne bijjula emmere ey’empeke. Ensi yonna eyimba mu ddoboozi ery’omwanguka ng’ejjudde essanyu.
