Psalms 65
1 “To the chief musician, a psalm [and] song of David.” For thee praise is waiting, O God, in Zion: and unto thee shall vows be paid.
সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। দাউদের গীত। একটি সংগীত। হে ঈশ্বর, সিয়োনে তোমার জন্য প্রশংসা অপেক্ষা করে; তোমার উদ্দেশে আমরা আমাদের শপথ পূর্ণ করব
2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee all flesh shall come.
কারণ তুমি প্রার্থনার উত্তর দিয়েছ। সব মানুষ তোমার কাছে আসবে।
3 The iniquitous things have become too mighty for me: our transgressions—these wilt thou wipe away.
আমরা যখন আমাদের পাপে ভারাক্রান্ত ছিলাম, তুমি আমাদের সমস্ত অপরাধ ক্ষমা করেছিলে।
4 Happy is he whom thou choosest, and causest to approach, that he may dwell in thy courts: let us be satisfied with the happiness of thy house, the holiness of thy temple.
ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি যাকে তুমি মনোনীত করেছ এবং কাছে এনেছ যেন তোমার প্রাঙ্গণে বসবাস করতে পারে! তোমার গৃহের ও তোমার পবিত্র মন্দিরের উত্তম সম্পদে আমরা পরিতৃপ্ত হয়েছি।
5 With terrific deeds in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the sea, that are far away;
হে ঈশ্বর, আমাদের ত্রাণকর্তা, তুমি অসাধারণ ও ধার্মিক ক্রিয়াসকলের মাধ্যমে আমাদের প্রার্থনার উত্তর দিয়েছ। পৃথিবীর সকলের আশা তুমি এমনকি যারা সুদূর সমুদ্রে যাত্রা করে তাদেরও।
6 Who setteth firmly the mountains by his power, who is girded with might;
তোমার পরাক্রমে তুমি পর্বতমালাকে নির্মাণ করেছ, এবং মহা শক্তিবলে নিজেকে সজ্জিত করেছ।
7 Who assuageth the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of nations.
তুমি গর্জনশীল সমুদ্র ও তাদের উত্তাল ঢেউ শান্ত করেছ, এবং জাতিদের কোলাহল চুপ করিয়েছ।
8 And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid of thy wondrous signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening thou causest to rejoice.
যারা পৃথিবীর দূর প্রান্তে বাস করে তারা তোমার আশ্চর্য ক্রিয়ায় ভীত; সূর্য ওঠার স্থান থেকে অস্ত যাওয়ার স্থান পর্যন্ত, তুমি আনন্দধ্বনি জাগিয়েছ।
9 Thou hast thought of the earth, and waterest her abundantly; thou greatly enrichest her; the brook of God is full of water: thou preparest their corn, when thou hast thus prepared her.
তুমি এই পৃথিবীকে যত্ন করছ ও জল সেচন করছ, সমৃদ্ধ ও উর্বর করে তুলছ। ঈশ্বরের নদী জলে পূর্ণ; যা সবাইকে প্রচুর শস্যের সম্ভার দেয়; কারণ এইভাবেই তুমি আদেশ দিয়েছ।
10 Watering her furrows abundantly, smoothing down her ridges, thou softenest her with showers; thou blessest her growth.
তুমি চষা জমির লাঙলরেখা ভিজিয়ে রাখছ এবং ঢাল সমান করছ; তুমি বৃষ্টি দিয়ে তা নরম করছ এবং তার ফসলে আশীর্বাদ করছ।
11 Thou hast crowned the year of thy goodness; and thy tracks drop fatness:
ফসলের সম্ভারে তুমি বছরকে মুকুটে ভূষিত করছ, আর তোমার ঠেলাগাড়ি প্রাচুর্যে উপচে পড়ে।
12 The pastures of the wilderness are dropping [with plenty]: and the hills are girt with gladness.
মরুপ্রান্তরের তৃণভূমি উপচে পড়ে; আর সব পাহাড় আনন্দে সজ্জিত হয়।
13 The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are enveloped with corn: men shout for joy, [yea, ] they also sing.
পশুপালে চারণভূমি পরিপূর্ণ হয়, উপত্যকাগুলি শস্যসম্ভারে আবৃত হয়; তারা জয়ধ্বনি করে ও গান গায়।
