< Psalms 54 >

1 “To the chief musician on Neginoth, a Maskil of David, When the Ziphim came and said to Saul, Behold, David is hiding himself with us.” O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength grant me justice.
Fún adarí orin. Pẹ̀lú ohun èlò orin olókùn. Maskili ti Dafidi. Nígbà tí àwọn ará Sifi lọ sọ fún Saulu pé, “Dafidi sá pamọ́ sọ́dọ̀ wa?” Gbà mí, Ọlọ́run nípa orúkọ rẹ: dá mi láre nípa agbára rẹ.
2 O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
Gbọ́ àdúrà mi, Ọlọ́run; fi etí sí ọ̀rọ̀ ẹnu mi.
3 For strangers [to goodness] are risen up against me, and powerful oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. (Selah)
Àwọn agbéraga àlejò dìde sí mí. Àwọn aninilára sì ń wá mi láti pa, àwọn ẹni tí kò ka Ọlọ́run sí ní ojú wọn.
4 Behold, God is a helper unto me: the Lord is among those that uphold my soul.
Kíyèsi i Ọlọ́run ni olùrànlọ́wọ́ mi; Olúwa ní ẹni tí ó mú mi dúró, pa wọ́n run nínú òtítọ́ rẹ.
5 He will cause the evil to return upon those that regard me with envy: in thy truth cut them off.
Jẹ́ kí ibi padà sẹ́yìn sí àwọn tí ń sọ̀rọ̀ ìbàjẹ́ sí mi; pa wọ́n run nínú òtítọ́ rẹ.
6 I will liberally sacrifice unto thee: I will give thanks unto thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
Èmí yóò rú ẹbọ àtinúwá sí ọ, èmi yóò yin orúkọ rẹ, Olúwa, nítorí tí ó dára.
7 For out of all distress hath he delivered me: and my eye hath seen [its desire] on my enemies.
Nítorí tí ó yọ mí kúrò nínú ibi gbogbo ojú mi ti wo ìṣẹ́gun lórí ọ̀tá mi.
