< Psalms 53 >

1 “To the chief musician upon Machalath, a Maskil of David.” The worthless fool saith in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, and they are abominable [in their] injustice: there is none that doth good.
Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Nʼusoro Mahalat. Abụ maskil Devid. Onye nzuzu na-asị nʼime obi ya, “Ọ dịghị Chineke ọbụla dị.” Ha bụ ndị ajọ omume riri ahụ, ụzọ ha niile bụkwa ihe arụ; ọ dịghị onye ọbụla na-eme ezi ihe.
2 God looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be one intelligent, one who seeketh for God.
Chineke sitere nʼeluigwe na-ele ụmụ mmadụ anya, ịhụ ma ọ ga-achọta onye ọbụla nwere nghọta, onye nke na-achọ Chineke.
3 Every one [of them] hath departed [from righteousness]; altogether are they become corrupt: there is none that doth good, no, not one.
Onye ọbụla, nʼotu nʼotu ewezugala onwe ha, ha niile abụrụla ndị ajọ omume riri ahụ; ọ dịghị onye ọbụla na-eme ihe ziri ezi, ọ dịghị ọ bụladị otu onye.
4 Is there no knowledge in the workers of wickedness? who eat up my people as they eat bread: [while] they do not call on God.
Ndị niile na-eme ajọ ihe, ha amaghị ihe? Ha na-eripịa ndị m dịka mmadụ si eri nri, ha adịghị akpọkukwa Chineke.
5 There were they terrified with terror where there was no terror; for God had scattered the bones of those that encamped against thee: thou didst put them to shame, because God had rejected them.
Ma nʼebe ahụ ka ha nọ, nʼọnọdụ oke egwu, ebe ọ dịghị ihe egwu na-adịghị. Chineke fesasịrị ọkpụkpụ ndị niile megidere gị; i mere ka ihere mee ha, nʼihi na Chineke ajụla ha.
6 Oh that some one might bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, [then] will Jacob be glad, [and] Israel will rejoice.
O, a sịkwarị na nzọpụta Izrel ga-esi na Zayọn pụta! Mgbe Chineke ga-akpọghachite ndị ya nʼọnọdụ ha, ka Jekọb ṅụrịa ọṅụ, ka Izrel nwekwaa obi ụtọ!
