< Psalms 52 >
1 “To the chief musician, a Maskil of David, When Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Achimelech.” What vauntest thou thyself of wickedness, O mighty man? the kindness of God endureth all the time.
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Zabbuli ya Dawudi Dowegi Omwedomu bwe yagenda n’abuulira Sawulo nti, “Dawudi alaze mu nnyumba ya Akimereki.” Lwaki weenyumiririza mu kibi ggwe omusajja ow’amaanyi? Endagaano ya Katonda ey’obwesigwa ebeerera emirembe n’emirembe.
2 Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs, like a sharpened razor, thou worker of deceit.
Oteekateeka enkwe ez’okuzikiriza. Olulimi lwo lwogi nga kkirita era buli kiseera lwogera bya bulimba.
3 Thou lovest evil more than good; falsehood more than speaking righteousness. (Selah)
Oyagala okukola ebibi okusinga okukola ebirungi, n’okulimba okusinga okwogera amazima.
4 Thou lovest all words of destruction, the tongue of deceit.
Osanyukira nnyo okwogera ebirumya. Ggwe olulimi kalimbira!
5 [Therefore] God will also destroy thee for ever: he will take thee away, and pluck thee out of his tent, and root thee out of the land of life. (Selah)
Kyokka Katonda alikuzikiriza emirembe gyonna; alikusikula, akuggye mu maka go; alikugoba mu nsi y’abalamu.
6 And the righteous shall see it, and they will be afraid, and laugh concerning him:
Bino abatuukirivu balibiraba, ne babitunuulira nga batidde. Naye balikusekerera, nga bwe bagamba nti,
7 “Lo, this is the man that made not God his fortress; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, relied proudly on his mischievous wickedness.”
“Mumulabe omusajja ateesiga Katonda okuba ekiddukiro kye, naye ne yeesiganga obugagga bwe obungi, ne yeeyongera n’amaanyi ng’azikiriza abalala.”
8 But I am like a green olive-tree in the house of God: I trust in the kindness of God for ever and ever.
Naye nze nfaanana ng’omuti omuzeyituuni ogukulira mu nnyumba ya Katonda. Neesiga okwagala kwa Katonda okutaggwaawo emirembe n’emirembe.
9 I will thank thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name, for [it is] good, before thy pious ones.
Nnaakwebazanga emirembe gyonna olw’ekyo ky’okoze. Nneesiganga erinnya lyo kubanga erinnya lyo ddungi; era nnaakutendererezanga awali abatuukirivu bo.
