< Psalms 51 >

1 “To the chief musician, a psalm of David, When Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in unto Bath-sheba'.” Be gracious unto me, O God, according to thy kindness: according to the greatness of thy mercies blot out my transgressions.
Nzembo ya Davidi. Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Eyembamaki tango mosakoli Natan akomaki epai ya Davidi sima na ye kosala ekobo elongo na Batisheba. Oh Nzambe, yokela ngai mawa kolanda bolingo monene na Yo; longola masumu na ngai kolanda mawa monene na Yo!
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Sukola ngai mobimba mpo na kolongola mabe na ngai, mpe petola ngai na masumu na ngai.
3 For of my transgressions I have full knowledge; and my sin is before me continually.
Pamba te nayebi mabe na ngai, mpe masumu na ngai ezalaka tango nyonso liboso na ngai.
4 To thee, thee only, have I sinned, and what is evil in thy eyes have I done: —in order that thou mightest be righteous when thou speakest, be justified when thou judgest.
Epai na Yo, epai na Yo kaka, nasali masumu mpe mabe na miso na Yo. Boye, okozala sembo tango okozwa mokano, mpe okozala na pamela te tango okokata makambo.
5 Behold, in iniquity was I brought forth; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Solo, nabotamaki kati na lisumu; wuta na libumu ya mama na ngai, nazali mosumuki.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: therefore do thou cause me to know wisdom in the recesses [of the heart].
Nzokande Yo, osepelaka na bosembo, ata kati na libumu; mpe okoteya ngai bwanya kati na esika ebombama.
7 Cleanse me from sin with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Petola ngai na nzela ya izope, mpe nakokoma peto; sukola ngai, mpe nakokoma pembe koleka mvula ya pembe.
8 Cause me to hear gladness and joy; that the bones which thou hast crushed may rejoice.
Sepelisa ngai mpe yokisa ngai nsayi na motema; mpe mikuwa na ngai oyo obukaki ekosepela makasi.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and all my iniquities do thou blot out.
Kotala lisusu masumu na ngai te, mpe longola bambeba na ngai nyonso.
10 Create unto me a clean heart, O God; and a firm spirit renew thou within me.
Oh Nzambe, mpo na ngai, kela motema ya peto; mpe kati na ngai, yeisa molimo sika mpe elenda.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and thy holy spirit do not take from me.
Kobengana ngai te mosika ya elongi na Yo, mpe kolongola te kati na ngai Molimo Mosantu na Yo.
12 Restore unto me the gladness of thy salvation; and with a liberal spirit do thou support me.—
Zongisela ngai esengo ya lobiko na Yo, mpe kabela ngai molimo oyo emibongisi malamu mpo na kolendisaka ngai.
13 I will teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall return unto thee.
Nakoteya banzela na Yo epai ya babuki mibeko, mpe bato ya masumu bakozonga epai na Yo.
14 Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; [that] my tongue may sing aloud of thy righteousness.
Oh Nzambe! Nzambe, Mobikisi na ngai, kangola ngai wuta na mokumba ya makila, mpe lolemo na ngai ekosakola bosembo na Yo.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips, and my mouth shall declare thy praise.
Nkolo, fungola bibebu na ngai, mpe monoko na ngai ekokumisa Yo.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: in burnt-offering hast thou no delight.
Mpo ete osepelaka na mbeka te, nakobonza te mbeka ya kotumba oyo ondimaka te.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, wilt thou not despise.
Nzambe, bambeka oyo osepelaka na yango ezali: molimo oyo ebukani. Nzambe, oyinaka te motema oyo etutami mpe emikitisi.
18 Do good in thy favor unto Zion; build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Na ngolu na Yo, salela Siona bolamu, tonga bamir ya Yelusalemi.
19 Then wilt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt-offering and entire offering: then shall bullocks be offered upon thy altar.
Bongo okosepela na bambeka ya bosembo, bambeka ya kotumba mpe makabo ya kokoka; mpe bangombe ya mibali ekobonzama na bitumbelo na Yo.
