Psalms 50
1 “A psalm of Assaph.” The God of gods, the Lord, speaketh, and calleth the earth, from the rising of the sun unto his setting.
১আসফের একটি গীত। এক সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভুু ঈশ্বর এই কথা বললেন এবং সূর্য্যের উদয়স্থান থেকে অন্ত পর্যন্ত তিনি পৃথিবীকে ডাকছেন।
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shineth forth.
২সিয়োন থেকে, সৌন্দর্য্যের পরিপূর্ণ স্থান থেকে, ঈশ্বর চিত্কার দীপ্তি প্রকাশ করেছেন।
3 Our God is coming, and will not keep silence: a fire devoureth before him, and round him there rageth a mighty storm.
৩আমাদের ঈশ্বর আসবেন নীরব থাকবেন না; তার আগে আগুন গ্রাস করবে এবং এটা তার চারপাশে অত্যন্ত ঝড় বইবে।
4 He will call to the heavens above, and to the earth, to judge his people.
৪তিনি উপরে স্বর্গকে ডাকবেন এবং পৃথিবীকেও ডাকবেন, যাতে নিজের লোকেদের বিচার করতে পারে।
5 “Gather together unto me my pious servants, who make a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
৫“আমার বিশ্বস্ত ব্যক্তিদের একসঙ্গে আমার কাছে একত্র কর, যারা বলিদান দ্বারা আমার সাথে একটি নিয়ম করেছে।”
6 And the heavens tell of his righteousness; for God is judge himself. (Selah)
৬আর স্বর্গ তাঁর ধার্ম্মিকতা ঘোষণা করবে, কারণ ঈশ্বর নিজেই বিচারক। (সেলা)
7 “Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: God, thy God, am I.
৭“আমার লোকেরা, শোন, আমি বল; ইস্রায়েল, শোন, আমি তোমার বিপক্ষে সাক্ষ্য দিই। আমিই ঈশ্বর, তোমার ঈশ্বর।
8 Not because of thy sacrifices will I reprove thee; and thy burnt-offerings are continually before me.
৮আমি তোমার বলিদানের জন্য তোমাকে তিরস্কার করব না, তোমার হোমবলি সবদিন আমার সামনে থাকে।
9 I will not take a bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds.
৯আমি তোমার গৃহ থেকে ষাঁড় বা তোমার খোঁয়াড় থেকে ছাগল নেব না।
10 For mine are all the beasts of the forest, the cattle upon a thousand mountains.
১০কারণ বনের সমস্ত প্রাণী আমার এবং হাজার হাজার পাহাড়ের গবাদি পশু আমার।
11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: whatever moveth on the fields is with me.
১১আমি পাহাড়ের সমস্ত পাখিকে জানি এবং মাঠের প্রাণীরা সকলই আমার।
12 If I were hungry, I would not say it to thee; for mine is the world, and what filleth it.
১২যদি আমি ক্ষুধার্ত থাকি আমি তোমাকে বলব না; কারণ জগৎ ও তার সমস্তই আমার।
13 Do I eat the flesh of fatted bulls, or drink the blood of he-goats?
১৩আমি কি ষাঁড়ের মাংস খাব বা আমি কি ছাগলের রক্ত পান করব?
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay unto the Most High thy vows;
১৪তুমি সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে বলি উৎসর্গের জন্য ধন্যবাদ দাও এবং মহান ঈশ্বর কাছে আমার প্রতিজ্ঞা পূর্ণ করব।
15 And call on me on the day of distress: I will deliver thee, — and so wilt thou glorify me.”
১৫আর বিপদের দিনের আমাকে ডাকো; আমি তোমাকে উদ্বার করব এবং তুমি আমার গৌরব করবে।”
16 But unto the wicked God saith, “What hast thou to do to relate my statutes, and why bearest thou my covenant upon thy mouth?
১৬কিন্তু দুষ্টকে ঈশ্বর বলে, আমার নিয়মের প্রকাশের সাথে করতে তোমার কি অধিকার, তুমি আমার নিয়ম মুখে এনেছ।
17 And yet thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
১৭তুমি শাসন ঘৃণা করে থাক এবং আমার বাক্যকে দূরে ফেলে থাক।
18 When thou seest a thief, then art thou pleased with him, and with adulterers hast thou thy portion.
১৮যখন তুমি একটি চোরকে দেখ তুমি তার সাথে একমত হও, তুমি ব্যভিচারিণীদের সাথে অংশগ্রহণ কর।
19 Thou lettest loose thy mouth with evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
১৯তুমি মন্দ বিষয়ে মুখ দিয়ে থাক এবং তোমার জিভ প্রতারণা প্রকাশ করে।
20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; against thy own mother's son thou utterest slander.
২০তুমি বসে নিজের ভাইয়ের বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলে থাক, তুমি নিজের মায়ের পুত্রকে নিন্দা করে থাক।
21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence: thou didst ween that I am like thyself; [but] I will reprove thee, and set it in order before thy eyes.”
২১তুমি এই সব কাজ করেছ, আমি নীরব হয়ে আছি; তুমি চিন্তা কর আমি তোমার মত কেউ ছিলাম, কিন্তু আমি তোমাকে তিরস্কার করব ও তোমার চোখের সামনে সমস্ত কিছু ধ্বংস করব।
22 Do but reflect on this, ye that forget God, lest I tear [you] in pieces, with none to deliver.
২২এখন তুমি এই কথা মনে করবে যারা ঈশ্বরকে ভুলে যায়, পাছে আমি তোমাকে টুকরো টুকরো করে ফেলি এবং তোমাকে সাহায্য করতে না আসি।
23 Whoso offereth thanksgiving glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his course aright, will I show the salvation of God.
২৩যে ব্যক্তি আমাকে ধন্যবাদের বলি উৎসর্গ করে এবং সেই আমার গৌরব করে; যে ব্যক্তি সঠিক পথের পরিকল্পনা করে, তাকে আমি ঈশ্বরের পরিত্রান দেখাব।
