Psalms 5
1 “To the chief musician upon Nechiloth, a psalm of David.” To my words give ear, O Lord, have regard to my mediation.
௧புல்லாங்குழலில் வாசிக்க இசைக்குழுவின் தலைவனிடம் அளிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் பாடல். யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடும், என்னுடைய தியானத்தைக் கவனியும்.
2 Listen unto the voice of my loud cry, my King, and my God, when unto thee I pray.
௨நான் உம்மையே நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் செய்கிறேன்; என் இராஜாவே, என் தேவனே, என் வேண்டுதலின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டருளும்.
3 O Lord! in the morning do thou hear my voice: in the morning will I set in order [my prayer] before thee, and 1ook up with hope.
௩யெகோவாவே, காலையிலே என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டருளுவீர்; காலையிலே உமக்கு நேராக வந்து ஆயத்தமாகி, காத்திருப்பேன்.
4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: evil cannot abide with thee.
௪நீர் துன்மார்க்கத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிற தேவன் அல்ல; தீமை உம்மிடத்தில் சேர்வதில்லை.
5 The arrogant cannot stand up before thy eyes: thou hatest all workers of wickedness.
௫வீம்புக்காரர்கள் உம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிலைநிற்கமாட்டார்கள்; அக்கிரமக்காரர்கள் யாவரையும் வெறுக்கிறீர்.
6 Thou wilt destroy those that speak lies: the man of blood and deceit the Lord abhorreth.
௬பொய் பேசுகிறவர்களை அழிப்பீர்; கொலை வெறியர்களையும் வஞ்சகமான மனிதனையும் யெகோவா அருவருக்கிறார்.
7 But as for me—in the abundance of thy kindness will I enter thy house: I will bow myself down before thy holy temple in the fear of thee.
௭நானோ உமது மிகுந்த கிருபையினாலே உமது ஆலயத்திற்குள் நுழைந்து, உமது பரிசுத்த சந்நிதிக்கு நேரே பயபக்தியுடன் பணிந்துகொள்ளுவேன்.
8 O Lord, lead me in thy righteousness because of those that regard me enviously; make straight before me thy way.
௮யெகோவாவே, என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்காக என்னை உம்முடைய நீதியிலே நடத்தி, எனக்கு முன்பாக உம்முடைய வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்தும்.
9 For there is not in their mouth any sincerity; their inward part is full of deception; an open sepulchre is their throat: they flatter with their tongue.
௯அவர்கள் வாயில் உண்மை இல்லை, அவர்கள் உள்ளம் கேடுபாடுள்ளது; அவர்கள் தொண்டை திறக்கப்பட்ட கல்லறையாகும்; தங்களுடைய நாவினால் வஞ்சகம் பேசுகிறார்கள்.
10 Condemn them, O God: let them fall through their own counsels; for the multitude of their transgressions cast them down; for they have rebelled against thee.
௧0தேவனே, அவர்களைக் குற்றவாளிகளாகத் தீர்த்திடும்; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய ஆலோசனைகளாலேயே விழும்படி செய்திடும்; அவர்கள் துரோகங்களினுடைய தீவினைக்காக அவர்களைத் தள்ளிவிடும்; உமக்கு விரோதமாகக் கலகம்செய்தார்களே.
11 Then will rejoice all those that put their trust in thee; for ever will they shout for joy, when thou protectest them: and then will exult in thee those that love thy name.
௧௧உம்மில் அடைக்கலம் நாடிவருவோர்கள் அனைவரும் மகிழ்ந்து, எந்நாளும் கெம்பீரிப்பார்களாக; நீர் அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றுவீர்; உம்முடைய பெயரை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் உம்மில் சந்தோஷப்படுவார்களாக.
12 For thou wilt bless the righteous, O Lord; as with a shield wilt thou encompass him with favor.
௧௨யெகோவாவே, நீர் நீதிமானை ஆசீர்வதித்து, கருணை என்னும் கேடகத்தினால் அவனைச் சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளுவீர்.
