< Psalms 48 >
1 “A song and psalm by the sons of Korach.” Great is the Lord, and highly praised in the city of our God, [in] his holy mountain.
[Psalm lun Tulik natul Korah] LEUM GOD El fulat, ac fal in arulana kaksakinyuk El In siti sin God lasr, fineol mutal sel.
2 A beautiful district, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, the farthest north, the city of the great King.
Zion, eol sin God, el arulana fulat ac kato; Siti sin tokosra fulat ase engan nu fin faclu nufon.
3 God is become known in her palaces as a defence.
God El akkalemye lah oasr nien moul misla yorol In pot ku lun siti sac.
4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they are passed away together.
Tokosra puspis, wi mwet mweun lalos, elos fahsreni Ac tuku in mweuni Fineol Zion.
5 They indeed saw—[and] so they were astonished; they were terrified, they were confounded.
Tusruktu ke elos liye Fineol Zion, elos arulana fwefela; Elos sangeng ac kaingla.
6 Trembling seized on them there, pain, as on a woman in travail.
Elos sangeng ac arulana tuninfongla ingo, Oana sie mutan su akola in isus,
7 With the east wind thou breakest the ships of Tharshish.
Ku oana oak palang su musalla ke sie paka lulap.
8 As we have heard, so have we seen [it] in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
Kut lohng tari ke ma God El orala Ac inge kut liye In siti lun God lasr, LEUM GOD Kulana; El ac fah karingin siti sac nwe tok ma pahtpat.
9 We have reflected on thy kindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
Ke kut muta in Tempul lom, O God, Kut nunku ke lungse kawil lom.
10 As thy name is, O God, so is thy praise over the ends of the earth: of righteousness is thy right hand full.
Mwet uh kaksakin kom in acn nukewa, Ac pungom fahsrelik nu fin faclu nufon. Kom kol mwet uh ke suwoswos.
11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
Lela mwet in Zion in enganak! Tuh kom oru nununku suwohs; Lela in oasr engan in siti nukewa in Judah!
12 Compass Zion about, and walk round about her; number her towers.
Mwet lun God, kowos fahsr rauni acn Zion ac oek tower fulat we;
13 Direct your mind to her outer wall, mark carefully her palaces: in order that ye may tell it to the latest generation.
Liye kalkal we, ac lohang nu ke pot ku we, Tuh kowos in mau ku in srumun nu sin fwil tok ouinge:
14 For this One is God, our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
“God se inge El God lasr nu tok ma pahtpat; El ac fah kol kut in pacl nukewa fahsru.”
