Psalms 48
1 “A song and psalm by the sons of Korach.” Great is the Lord, and highly praised in the city of our God, [in] his holy mountain.
১আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ নগৰত, তেওঁৰ পবিত্ৰ পৰ্ব্বতত, যিহোৱা মহান আৰু অতীব প্রশংসাৰ যোগ্য,
2 A beautiful district, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, the farthest north, the city of the great King.
২উত্তৰপ্রান্তত স্থিত সেই চিয়োন পৰ্ব্বত; ওখ টিলাৰ ওপৰত মহান ৰজাৰ সেই নগৰ দেখিবলৈ সুন্দৰ; গোটেই পৃথিবীকে আনন্দ দিয়ে।
3 God is become known in her palaces as a defence.
৩ঈশ্বৰে সেই চহৰৰ অট্টালিকাবোৰৰ মাজত নিজক দুৰ্গ স্বৰূপে প্রকাশ কৰিছে।
4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they are passed away together.
৪ৰজাসকলে একগোট হ’ল আৰু একেলগে আগুৱাই গ’ল।
5 They indeed saw—[and] so they were astonished; they were terrified, they were confounded.
৫তেওঁলোকে সেই নগৰ দেখি আতংকিত হ’ল; তেওঁলোক বিহ্বল হৈ পলাই গ’ল।
6 Trembling seized on them there, pain, as on a woman in travail.
৬সেই ঠাইত ভয়তে তেওঁলোকৰ কঁপনি উঠিছিল, প্রসৱকাৰিনী মহিলাৰ দৰে যন্ত্রণা হৈছিল।
7 With the east wind thou breakest the ships of Tharshish.
৭যেনেকৈ পূব দিশৰ বতাহে তৰ্চীচৰ জাহাজবোৰ ভাঙি পেলায়, তেনেকৈ তেওঁলোকক ভাঙিলে।
8 As we have heard, so have we seen [it] in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
৮বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ নগৰত, আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ নগৰত; আমি যি শুনিছিলোঁ, তাকে দেখিলোঁ; দেখিলোঁ, ঈশ্বৰে নগৰখন চিৰকালৰ কাৰণে স্থাপন কৰিব। (চেলা)
9 We have reflected on thy kindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
৯হে ঈশ্বৰ, তোমাৰ মন্দিৰৰ ভিতৰত, আমি তোমাৰ গভীৰ প্রেমৰ কথা ধ্যান কৰোঁ।
10 As thy name is, O God, so is thy praise over the ends of the earth: of righteousness is thy right hand full.
১০হে ঈশ্বৰ, তোমাৰ প্ৰশংসাৰ দৰেই তোমাৰ নাম পৃথিৱীৰ শেষ সীমা পর্যন্ত আছে। তোমাৰ সোঁ হাত ধার্মিকতাৰে পৰিপূর্ণ।
11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
১১তোমাৰ ন্যায় বিচাৰৰ কাৰণে চিয়োন পৰ্ব্বতে আনন্দ কৰক, যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰ উল্লাস কৰা।
12 Compass Zion about, and walk round about her; number her towers.
১২তোমালোকে চিয়োনৰ চাৰিওফালে ঘূৰা, আহাঁ, তাৰ কোঁঠবোৰ গণনা কৰা।
13 Direct your mind to her outer wall, mark carefully her palaces: in order that ye may tell it to the latest generation.
১৩তাৰ প্রাচীৰবোৰ লক্ষ্য কৰা; তাৰ ৰাজ-অট্টালিকাবোৰ ঘূৰি চোৱা যাতে তোমালোকে সেই কথা তোমালোকৰ ভাৱী সন্তান সকলক ক’ব পাৰা।
14 For this One is God, our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
১৪এই ঈশ্বৰ, আমাৰ অনন্তকালৰ ঈশ্বৰ; তেওঁ চিৰকাললৈকে আমাৰ পথদৰ্শক হ’ব।
