Psalms 46
1 “To the chief musician: by the sons of Korach, upon 'Alamoth, a song.” God is our protection and strength, a help in distresses, very readily found.
Mazmur kaum Korah. Untuk pemimpin kor. Dengan lagu Alamot. Allah adalah perlindungan dan kekuatan kita; Ia selalu siap dan mampu menolong dalam kesesakan.
2 Therefore will we not fear, even when the earth is transformed, and when mountains are moved into the heart of the seas;
Maka kita tidak takut, biarpun bumi bergoncang, dan gunung-gunung tenggelam ke dasar lautan;
3 [When] the waters thereof roar and foam, when mountains quake before his majesty. (Selah)
biar laut mengamuk dan bergelora, dan bukit-bukit gemetar oleh pukulannya.
4 [There] is a river, its rivulets cause to rejoice the city of God, the sanctuary of the dwellings of the Most High.
Ada aliran sungai yang menggembirakan kota Allah, tempat kediaman Allah Yang Mahatinggi.
5 God is in her midst; she shall not be moved: God will ever help her, at the dawning of [her] morning.
Allah berdiam di sana, maka kota itu takkan musnah; Ia akan menolongnya waktu fajar merekah.
6 Nations rage, kingdoms are moved: he letteth his voice be heard, the earth melteth away.
Allah mengguntur, maka bumi hancur luluh; bangsa-bangsa gempar, kerajaan-kerajaan runtuh.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; a defense unto us is the God of Jacob. (Selah)
TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa menyertai kita, Allah Yakub melindungi kita.
8 Come, look at the deeds of the Lord, who hath made desolations on the earth.
Mari, lihatlah apa yang dikerjakan TUHAN; betapa menakjubkan karya-Nya di bumi!
9 He causeth wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in pieces; he burneth wagons in the fire.
Ia menghentikan peperangan di seluruh dunia, busur dan lembing dihancurkan-Nya, perisai-perisai bundar dibakar-Nya.
10 Leave off, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.
Kata-Nya, "Berhentilah berperang; ketahuilah, Aku ini Allah, Aku agung di antara bangsa-bangsa, agung di seluruh bumi."
11 The Lord of hosts is with us; a defence unto us is the God of Jacob. (Selah)
