Psalms 43

1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: from the deceitful and unjust man do thou deliver me.

Vindicar-me, Deus, e advogar minha causa contra uma nação ímpia. Oh, livrai-me de homens enganadores e perversos.

2 For thou art the God of my fortress: why hast thou abandoned me? why must I walk about grieved, under the oppression of the enemy?

Pois você é o Deus da minha força. Por que você me rejeitou? Por que eu vou de luto por causa da opressão do inimigo?

3 Send thou thy light and thy truth, these shall guide me; they shall bring me unto thy holy mountain, and to thy dwellings:

Oh, envie sua luz e sua verdade. Deixe-os me guiarem. Deixe-os levar-me ao seu santo monte, para suas tendas.

4 That I may go unto the altar of God, unto God the joy of my gladness; and that I may thank thee upon the harp, O God, my God.

Então eu irei ao altar de Deus, a Deus, minha alegria imensa. Eu o louvarei na harpa, Deus, meu Deus.

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet thank him, the salvation of my countenance, and my God.

Por que você está em desespero, minha alma? Por que você está perturbado dentro de mim? Esperança em Deus! Pois eu ainda o louvarei: meu Salvador, meu ajudante, e meu Deus.
