Psalms 36
1 “To the chief musician, by the servant of the Lord, by David.” Saith vice itself to the wicked—so I feel it within my heart— that he should have no dread of God before his eyes.
Ang sala magsulti sama sa mananagna nga anaa sa kasingkasing sa daotang tawo; walay kahadlok sa Dios diha sa iyang mga mata.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes [too much] to find out his iniquity to hate it.
Kay gihupay na niya ang iyang kaugalingon, naghunahuna nga dili makita ang iyang sala ug dili pagadumtan.
3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, to do good.
Makasasala ug malimbongon ang iyang mga pulong; dili niya buot nga mahimong maalamon ug magbuhat og maayo.
4 He deviseth wickedness upon his couch; he placeth himself on a way that is not good; evil he despiseth not.
Samtang naghigda siya sa iyang higdaanan, naglaraw siya sa pagpakasala; naglaraw siyag daotan nga paagi; dili niya isalikway ang daotan.
5 O Lord, into the heavens reacheth thy kindness, thy faithfulness even into the skies.
Ang imong matinud-anong kasabotan, Yahweh, misangko sa kalangitan; ang imong kamaunongon misangko sa kapanganoran.
6 Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; thy acts of justice like the great deep: man and beast dost thou ever help, O Lord.
Ang imong pagkamatarong nahisama sa bukid sa Dios; ang imong paghukom nahisama sa kinahiladman. Yahweh, gitipigan nimo ang katawhan ug ang mga mananap.
7 How precious is thy kindness, O God! And the children of men that seek shelter under the shadow of thy wings, —
Pagkabililhon sa imong matinud-anong kasabotan, Dios! Ang katawhan mopasilong sa landong sa imong mga pako.
8 These will be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and of the stream of thy delights wilt thou give them to drink.
Mabuhong (sila) sa kadaghan sa pagkaon sa imong balay; gipainom nimo (sila) gikan sa suba sa imong bililhong mga panalangin.
9 For with thee is the source of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Kay ikaw man ang tinubdan sa kinabuhi; sa imong kahayag makita namo ang kahayag.
10 Draw down continuously thy kindness unto those that acknowledge thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Ipadayon gayod ang imong matinud-anong kasabotan niadtong nakaila kanimo, ug ang imong pagpanalipod niadtong mga matarong ang kasingkasing.
11 Let not come against me the foot of pride, and let not the hand of the wicked chase me off.
Ayaw itugot ang tiil sa mapahitas-on nga moduol kanako. Ayaw itugot ang kamot sa mga daotan nga moabog kanako.
12 There are fallen the workers of wickedness: they are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise.
Didto mapukan ang mga daotan; matumba (sila) ug dili na makabangon.
