Psalms 34
1 “By David, when he disguised his reason before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.” I will bless the Lord at all times: continually shall his praise be in my mouth.
Daygon ko si Yahweh sa tanang panahon, daygon ko siya kanunay sa akong baba.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear it, and be rejoiced.
Daygon ko si Yahweh! Makadungog unta ang mga dinaugdaog ug maglipay.
3 Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Dayga si Yahweh duyog kanako, ug atong ipataas ang iyang ngalan.
4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and from all that I dreaded did he deliver me.
Nagpakitabang ako kang Yahweh ug gitubag niya ako, ug gihatagan niya akog kadaogan sa tanan kong mga kahadlok.
5 They [who] looked unto him, were indeed enlightened, and their faces were not put to the blush.
Kadtong nangita kaniya magmasanagon, ug ang ilang mga nawong dili maulawan.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and out of all his distresses did he save him.
Misangpit kining dinaugdaog nga tawo ug gidungog siya ni Yahweh ug giluwas siya sa tanan niyang kalisdanan.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about those who fear him, and delivereth them.
Ang anghel ni Yahweh nagkampo libot niadtong nagmahadlokon kaniya ug giluwas (sila)
8 Experience and see that the Lord is good: happy is the man that trusteth in him.
Sulayi ug makita ninyo ang kaayo ni Yahweh. Bulahan ang tawo nga modangop kaniya.
9 Oh fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to those who fear him.
Kahadloki si Yahweh, kamo nga iyang balaang katawhan. Walay makulang niadtong nagmahadlokon kaniya.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not want any good.
Ang batan-ong liyon makabsan usahay sa pagkaon ug mag-antos sa kagutom, apan kadtong moduol kang Yahweh dili makabsan sa bisan unsa nga maayong mga butang.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: the fear of the Lord will I teach you.
Duol, mga anak nga lalaki, paminawa ako. Tudloan ko kamo nga magmahadlokon kang Yahweh.
12 Who is the man that desireth life, loveth [many] days, that he may see happiness?
Kinsa man ang tawo nga nagtinguha sa kinabuhi ug naghigugma sa daghang mga adlaw, aron makita niya ang maayo?
13 Guard thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking deceit.
Busa bantayi ang inyong dila sa pagsultig daotan ug bantayi ang inyong ngabil sa pagsultig bakak.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Biyai ang daotan ug buhata ang maayo. Pangitaa ang kalinaw ug paninguhaa kini.
15 The eyes of the Lord are directed unto the righteous, and his ears unto their cry.
Ang mga mata ni Yahweh anaa sa matarong ug ang iyang mga dalunggan nakadungog sa ilang pagtuaw.
16 [But] the anger of the Lord is against those that do evil, to cut off from the earth their remembrance.
Apan ang nawong ni Yahweh nagabatok sa nagbuhat og daotan, puohon (sila) aron dili na mahinumdoman sa kalibotan.
17 Those cry, and the Lord heareth, and from all their distresses he delivereth them.
Dunggon ni Yahweh ang pagtuaw sa mga matarong ug luwason niya (sila) gikan sa tanan nilang mga kalisdanan.
18 The Lord is nigh unto those that are broken-hearted: and he saveth those that are of a contrite spirit.
Duol si Yahweh sa samdan og kasingkasing, ug luwason niya kadtong dugmok sa espiritu.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but out of them all the Lord ever delivereth him.
Daghan ang kalisdanan sa mga matarong, apan luwason (sila) ni Yahweh gikan niining tanan.
20 He watcheth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Ampingan niya ang tanan niyang kabukogan, nga walay mabali bisan usa niini.
21 The evil will slay the wicked: and they who hate the righteous shall incur guiltiness.
Ang daotan maoy mopatay sa daotang tawo. Kadtong nagdumot sa matarong pagasilotan.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and all that trust in him shall not incur guiltiness.
Luwason ni Yahweh ang kinabuhi sa iyang mga sulugoon. Dili niya silotan kadtong midangop kaniya.
