< Psalms 32 >
1 “Of David: a Maskil.” Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Nkunga Davidi. Lusakumunu kuidi mutu wowo wulemvokolo nzimbalꞌandi; masumu mandi mafukulu.
2 Happy is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
Lusakumunu kuidi mutu wowo Yave kankambu ntangila disumu diandi, ayi kambulu bukhita mu pheve andi.
3 When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my crying all the day.

4 For by day and night lay thy hand heavily upon me: my [life's] moisture hath been changed through the droughts of summer. (Selah)
Bila muini ayi builu koko kuaku ziku kuba va minu. Zingolo ziama zisukidi banga mu thangu yi muini wu ngolo.
5 My sin do I ever acknowledge unto thee, and my iniquity have I not covered up. I said, I will make confession because of my transgressions unto the Lord: and thou truly forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
Buna ndizabikisa disumu diama, ndisia fuka mambimbi mama ko. Ndituba: “Ndiela lomba nlemvo mu zinzimbala ziama kuidi Yave.” Buna ngeyo wulemvukila mambimbi ma disumu diama.
6 For this shall every pious one pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely [then] when great waters overflow, they shall never reach unto him.
Buna diawu bika woso mutu wunkinzikanga mambu maku, wela kusambila mu thangu yoyi kalenda kubakula. Bukiedika mu thangu yi khuka nlangu yingolo milendi kunlalumuna ko.
7 Thou art my hiding-place; from distress wilt thou preserve me; with songs of deliverance wilt thou encompass me. (Selah)
Ngeyo buangu kiama kieti kutsueka; ngeyo weti kukheba mu ziphasi. Ngeyo wukunzungidilanga mu minkunga mi khudulu.
8 I will instruct thee and I will teach thee concerning the way which thou oughtest to go: I will counsel thee with my eye.
“Ndiela kumonisa ayi kulonga nzila yoyi fueti diatila, ndiela kuvana ndongi ayi thaluꞌama yela ba vadi ngeyo.
9 Be ye not like the horse, or like the mule, who hath no understanding; who must be held in with bit and bridle, his ornament, lest he come near unto thee.
Kadi ba banga phunda voti banga bulu kioki bantedilanga ‘mule’; bibulu bikondolo diela, vayi biobi binkangungu nsinga ayi sengo mu munu bila nganu bilenda fikama va widi.”
10 Many are the pains of the wicked; but him that trusteth in the Lord will he encompass with kindness.
