Psalms 29

1 “A psalm of David.” Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye sons of the mighty, ascribe unto the Lord glory and strength.

Давидов псалом. Отдайте Господу, вие синове на силните, Отдайте Господу слава и могъщество.

2 Ascribe unto the Lord the glory of his name; bow down to the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Отдайте Господу дължимата на името Му слава; Поклонете се Господу в света премяна.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, the Lord—upon mighty waters.

Гласът Господен е над водите; Бог на славата гърми: Господ гърми над големите води,

4 The voice of the Lord [resoundeth] with power; the voice of the Lord [resoundeth] with majesty.

Гласът Господен е силен; Гласът Господен е величествен.

5 The voice of the Lord breaketh in pieces the cedars; yea, the Lord shivereth the cedars of Lebanon;

Гласът Господен троши кедри; Да! Господ троши ливанските кедри,

6 And he maketh them skip like a calf; Lebanon and Siryon like young reems.

И прави да скачат като юнец, Ливан и Сирион като див вол в младостта си.

7 The voice of the Lord heweth out flames of fire.

Гласът Господен разцепва огнените пламъци.

8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

Гласът Господен разтърсва пустинята; Господ разтърсва пустинята Кадис.

9 The voice of the Lord causeth the hinds to start, and maketh bare forests: and in his temple every thing speaketh [of his] glory.

Гласът Господен прави да раждат кошутите, И оголва лесовете; А в храма Му всеки възгласява Слава!

10 The Lord sat [enthroned] at the flood: and the Lord will sit as King for ever.

Господ седна Цар над Потопа; Да! Господ седна Цар до века.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Господ ще даде сила на людете Си; Господ ще благослови людете Си с мир.
