Psalms 28

1 “Of David.” Unto thee, O Lord, will I call; O my rock, turn not unheeding from me: lest thou turn away silent from me, and I become like those that go down into the pit.

Por David. A ti, Yahvé, te llamo. Mi roca, no seas sordo a mí, No sea que, si te quedas callado ante mí, Me volvería como los que bajan a la fosa.

2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward the most holy place of thy sanctuary.

Escucha la voz de mis peticiones, cuando clamo a ti, cuando alzo mis manos hacia tu Lugar Santísimo.

3 Snatch me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of injustice, who speak peace with their neighbors, with mischief in their heart.

No me arrastres con los malvados, con los obreros de la iniquidad que hablan de paz con sus vecinos, pero la maldad está en sus corazones.

4 Give unto them according to their doing, and according to the evil of their deeds; according to the work of their hands do thou give unto them: bestow their [just] recompense on them.

Dales según su trabajo y según la maldad de sus obras. Dales según el funcionamiento de sus manos. Devuélveles lo que se merecen.

5 Because they have no regard for the doings of the Lord, nor the works of his hands: may he pull them down, and not build them up.

Porque no respetan las obras de Yahvé, ni la operación de sus manos, los derribará y no los construirá.

6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

Bendito sea Yahvé, porque ha escuchado la voz de mis peticiones.

7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him hath my heart trusted, and I am helped, and my heart exulteth; and with my song will I thank him.

Yahvé es mi fuerza y mi escudo. Mi corazón ha confiado en él y me ha ayudado. Por eso mi corazón se alegra enormemente. Con mi canción le daré las gracias.

8 The Lord is strength unto them, and he is the fortress of victory of his anointed.

Yahvé es su fuerza. Es un baluarte de salvación para sus ungidos.

9 Help thy people, and bless thy heritage: and feed them, and exalt them unto all eternity.

Salva a tu gente, y bendice tu herencia. Sé también su pastor, y los soportará para siempre.
