Psalms 27
1 “Of David.” The Lord is my light and my salvation; of whom shall I be afraid? the Lord is the fortress of my life; of whom shall I have dread?
૧દાઉદનું (ગીત). યહોવાહ મારા ઉદ્ધારનાર તથા પ્રકાશ છે; હું કોનાથી બીહું? યહોવાહ મારા જીવનનું સામર્થ્ય છે; મને કોનો ભય લાગે?
2 When evil-doers come near against me to eat up my flesh, my assailants and my enemies at me: then do they stumble and fall.
૨જ્યારે દુરાચારીઓ અને મારા શત્રુઓ મારો સંહાર કરવા આવશે, ત્યારે તેઓ ઠોકર ખાઈને નીચે પડશે.
3 If an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: if war should arise against me, even then will I have trust.
૩જો કે સૈન્ય મારી સામે છાવણી નાખે, તોપણ હું મનમાં ડરીશ નહિ; જો કે મારી વિરુદ્ધ યુદ્ધ ઊઠે, તોપણ હું ઈશ્વર પર ભરોસો રાખીશ.
4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that I will seek for: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the loveliness of the Lord, and to be every morning early in his temple.
૪યહોવાહ પાસે મેં એક વરદાન માગ્યું છે: કે યહોવાહનું ઘર મારી જિંદગીના સર્વ દિવસો દરમ્યાન મારું નિવાસસ્થાન થાય, જેથી હું યહોવાહના સૌંદર્યનું અવલોકન કર્યા કરું અને તેમના પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં તેમનું ધ્યાન ધરું.
5 For he will hide me in his pavilion on the day of evil; he will conceal me in the secret of his tabernacle; upon a rock will he place me high.
૫કેમ કે સંકટના સમયે તેઓ મને પોતાના મંડપમાં ગુપ્ત રાખશે; તે પોતાના મંડપને આશ્રયે મને સંતાડશે. તે મને ખડક પર ચઢાવશે!
6 And now will my head be lifted up above my enemies all round about me; and I will sacrifice in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy: I will sing, and I will triumphantly play unto the Lord.
૬પછી મારી આસપાસના શત્રુઓ પર મારું માથું ઊંચું કરવામાં આવશે અને હું તેમના મંડપમાં હર્ષનાદનાં અર્પણ ચઢાવીશ! હું ગાઈશ અને યહોવાહનાં સ્તોત્રો ગાઈશ!
7 Hear, O Lord, my voice, [when] I call, and be gracious unto me, and answer me.
૭હે યહોવાહ, જ્યારે હું વિનંતી કરું, ત્યારે તે સાંભળો! મારા પર દયા કરીને મને ઉત્તર આપો!
8 Of thee, said my heart, “Seek ye my presence”: thy presence, Lord, will I seek.
૮મારું હૃદય તમારા વિષે કહે છે કે, “તેમનું મુખ શોધો!” હે યહોવાહ, હું તમારું મુખ શોધીશ!
9 Hide [then] not thy face from me; reject not in anger thy servant, thou [who] hast been my help: cast me not off, nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.
૯તમે તમારું મુખ મારાથી ફેરવશો નહિ; કોપ કરીને તમે તમારા સેવકને તજી દેશો નહિ! તમે મારા સહાયકારી થયા છો; હે મારા ઉદ્ધારનાર ઈશ્વર, મને દૂર ન કરો અને મને તજી ન દો!
10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me; but the Lord will take me up.
૧૦જો કે મારા માતાપિતાએ મને તજી દીધો છે, તોપણ યહોવાહ મને સંભાળશે.
11 Point me out thy way, O Lord! and guide me on a level path, because of those that regard me enviously.
૧૧હે યહોવાહ, મને તમારો માર્ગ શીખવો! મારા શત્રુઓને લીધે મને સરળ માર્ગે દોરી જાઓ.
12 Give me not up to the [revengeful] desire of my assailants; for there are risen up against me false witnesses, and such as utter violence.
૧૨મને મારા શત્રુઓના હાથમાં ન સોંપો, કારણ કે જૂઠા સાક્ષીઓ તથા જુલમના ફૂંફાડા મારનારા મારી વિરુદ્ધ ઊઠ્યા છે!
13 Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of life—
૧૩આ જીવનમાં હું યહોવાહની દયાનો અનુભવ કરીશ, એવો જો મેં વિશ્વાસ કર્યો ન હોત તો હું નિર્બળ થઈ જાત!
14 Wait on the Lord; be strong, and let thy heart be of good courage; and only wait on the Lord.
૧૪યહોવાહની રાહ જો; બળવાન થા અને હિંમત રાખ! હા, યહોવાહની રાહ જો!
