Psalms 26

1 “Of David.” Judge me, O Lord; for I have indeed walked in my integrity: and in the Lord have I trusted; I shall not slip.

Oh Señor, sé mi juez, porque mi comportamiento ha sido recto: he puesto mi fe en el Señor sin titubear.

2 Try me, O Lord, and prove me; purify my reins and my heart.

Ponme en la balanza, oh Señor, para que yo sea probado; examina y pon a prueba mis pensamientos y mi corazón.

3 For thy kindness is before my eyes; and I have walked in thy truth.

Porque tu misericordia está delante de mis ojos; y te he sido fiel.

4 I have not sat with men of falsehood, and with dissemblers will I not enter [in communion].

No me he sentado con personas mentirosas, y no voy con hombres hipócritas.

5 I have hated the assemblage of evil-doers; and with the wicked will I not sit.

He sido aborrecedor de la banda de malhechores, y no me senté entre pecadores.

6 I will wash in innocency my hands, and I will compass thy altar, O Lord:

Haré que mis manos estén limpias del pecado; así iré alrededor de tu altar, oh Señor;

7 That I may publish with a loud voice [my] thanksgiving, and relate all thy wondrous deeds.

Para dar la voz de alabanza y acción de gracias. y hacer públicas todas las maravillas que has hecho.

8 Lord, I love the site of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

Señor, tu casa me ha sido querida y el lugar de descanso de tu gloria.

9 Take not away with sinners my soul, nor with men of blood my life;

No se cuente mi alma entre los pecadores, ni mi vida entre los sanguinarios;

10 In whose hands are wicked devices, and whose right hand is full of bribes.

En cuyas manos hay malos designios, y cuyas diestras toman dinero para sobornar.

11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

¡Pero en cuanto a mí, seguiré mis caminos rectos: sé mi salvador, y ten misericordia de mí!

12 My foot standeth on an even place: in assemblies will I bless the Lord.

¡Mi pie ha estado en rectitud; Alabaré al Señor en las reuniones de su pueblo!
