Psalms 25

1 “Of David.” Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

A Ti, oh Yavé, levanto mi alma.

2 O my God, in thee do I trust, let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.

¡ʼElohim mío, en Ti confío! No sea yo avergonzado, No se alegren de mí mis enemigos.

3 Yea, none that wait on thee will be put to shame: let those be put to shame who deal treacherously without cause.

Ciertamente ninguno de los que confían en Ti será avergonzado. Serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.

4 Show me, O Lord, thy ways; teach me thy paths.

Muéstrame, oh Yavé, tus caminos, Enséñame tus sendas.

5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation: on thee do I wait all the day.

Encamíname en tu verdad y enséñame, Porque Tú eres el ʼElohim de mi salvación. En Ti espero todo el día.

6 Remember thy mercies, O Lord, and thy kindnesses; for they are from everlasting.

Acuérdate, oh Yavé, de tu compasión y de tu misericordia que son perpetuas.

7 The sins of my youth and my transgressions do not remember: according to thy kindness bear thou me in remembrance, for the sake of thy goodness, O Lord.

No te acuerdes de los pecados de mi juventud y de mis transgresiones. Conforme a tu misericordia acuérdate de mí, Por tu bondad, oh Yavé.

8 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore he pointeth out to sinners the right way.

Bueno y justo es Yavé. Él muestra el camino a los pecadores.

9 He guideth the meek in justice, and he teacheth the meek his way.

Encamina a los humildes en justicia, Y enseña a los mansos su senda.

10 All the paths of the Lord are kindness and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Todas las sendas de Yavé son misericordia y verdad Para los que observan su Pacto y sus Preceptos.

11 For the sake of thy name, O Lord, pardon my iniquity: although it is great.

Por amor a tu Nombre, oh Yavé, Perdonas también mi iniquidad, que es grande.

12 Who is that man that feareth the Lord? to him will he point out the way which he is to choose?

¿Quién es el hombre que teme a Yavé? Él le enseñará el camino que debe escoger.

13 His soul shall abide in happiness: and his seed shall inherit the land.

Su alma gozará de bienestar, Y su descendencia heredará la tierra.

14 The secret counsel of the Lord is for those that fear him, and his covenant—to make it known to them.

El secreto de Yavé es para los que le temen. A ellos hará conocer su Pacto.

15 My eyes are ever [directed] toward the Lord; for he will draw out of the net my feet.

Mis ojos están siempre fijos en Yavé, Porque Él sacará mis pies de la red.

16 Turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.

Mírame y ten misericordia de mí, Porque estoy solo y afligido.

17 The distresses of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my afflictions.

Las angustias de mi corazón se aumentaron. ¡Sácame de mis congojas!

18 Look on my misery and my trouble; and forgive all my sins.

Mira mi aflicción y mis fatigas, Y perdona todos mis pecados.

19 Look at my enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with the hatred of violence.

¡Mira cómo se multiplicaron mis enemigos, Y con violento odio me aborrecen!

20 Oh, guard my soul; and deliver me: let me not be put to shame; for I put my trust in thee.

¡Guarda mi alma y líbrame! No sea yo avergonzado, Porque en Ti me refugio.

21 Let integrity and uprightness guard me; for I wait on thee.

Integridad y rectitud me guarden, Porque en Ti espero.

22 Redeem, O God, Israel out of all his distresses.

¡Oh ʼElohim, redime a Israel de todas sus angustias!
