Psalms 25
1 “Of David.” Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
De David. A Ti, Yahvé, Dios mío, elevo mi alma;
2 O my God, in thee do I trust, let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.
en Ti confío, no sea yo confundido; no se gocen a costa mía mis enemigos.
3 Yea, none that wait on thee will be put to shame: let those be put to shame who deal treacherously without cause.
No, ninguno que espera en Ti es confundido. Confundido queda el que locamente se aparta de Ti.
4 Show me, O Lord, thy ways; teach me thy paths.
Muéstrame tus caminos, oh Yahvé, indícame tus sendas;
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation: on thee do I wait all the day.
condúceme a tu verdad e instrúyeme, porque Tú eres el Dios que me salva, y estoy siempre esperándote.
6 Remember thy mercies, O Lord, and thy kindnesses; for they are from everlasting.
Acuérdate, Yahvé, de tus misericordias, y de tus bondades de todos los tiempos.
7 The sins of my youth and my transgressions do not remember: according to thy kindness bear thou me in remembrance, for the sake of thy goodness, O Lord.
No recuerdes los pecados de mi mocedad, [ni mis ofensas]; según tu benevolencia acuérdate de mí, por tu bondad, oh Yahvé.
8 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore he pointeth out to sinners the right way.
Yahvé es benigno y es recto; por eso da a los pecadores una ley para el camino;
9 He guideth the meek in justice, and he teacheth the meek his way.
guía en la justicia a los humildes, y amaestra a los dóciles en sus vías.
10 All the paths of the Lord are kindness and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Todos los caminos de Yahvé son misericordia y fidelidad para cuantos buscan su alianza y sus disposiciones.
11 For the sake of thy name, O Lord, pardon my iniquity: although it is great.
Por la gloria de tu Nombre, oh Yahvé, Tú perdonarás mi culpa, aunque es muy grande.
12 Who is that man that feareth the Lord? to him will he point out the way which he is to choose?
¿Hay algún hombre que tema a Yahvé? A ese le mostrará Él qué senda elegir;
13 His soul shall abide in happiness: and his seed shall inherit the land.
reposará su alma rodeada de bienes, y su descendencia poseerá la tierra.
14 The secret counsel of the Lord is for those that fear him, and his covenant—to make it known to them.
Yahvé concede intimidad familiar a los que le temen; les da a conocer (las promesas de) su alianza.
15 My eyes are ever [directed] toward the Lord; for he will draw out of the net my feet.
Mis ojos están siempre puestos en Yahvé porque Él saca mis pies del lazo.
16 Turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.
Mírame Tú y tenme lástima, porque soy miserable y estoy solo.
17 The distresses of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my afflictions.
Ensancha mi corazón angustiado, sácame de mis estrecheces.
18 Look on my misery and my trouble; and forgive all my sins.
Mira que estoy cargado y agobiado, y perdona Tú todos mis delitos.
19 Look at my enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with the hatred of violence.
Repara en mis enemigos, porque son muchos y me odian con odio feroz.
20 Oh, guard my soul; and deliver me: let me not be put to shame; for I put my trust in thee.
Cuida Tú mi alma y sálvame; no tenga yo que sonrojarme de haber acudido a Ti.
21 Let integrity and uprightness guard me; for I wait on thee.
Los íntegros y justos están unidos conmigo, porque espero en Ti.
22 Redeem, O God, Israel out of all his distresses.
Oh Yahvé, libra a Israel de todas sus tribulaciones.
