Psalms 25
1 “Of David.” Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
К Теби, Господе, подижем душу своју.
2 O my God, in thee do I trust, let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.
Боже мој! У Тебе се уздам; не дај да се осрамотим, да ми се не свете непријатељи моји.
3 Yea, none that wait on thee will be put to shame: let those be put to shame who deal treacherously without cause.
И који се год у Те уздају, неће се осрамотити; осрамотиће се они који се одмећу од Тебе беспутно.
4 Show me, O Lord, thy ways; teach me thy paths.
Покажи ми, Господе, путеве своје, научи ме ходити стазама Твојим.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation: on thee do I wait all the day.
Упути ме истини својој, и научи ме; јер си Ти Бог спасења мог, Теби се надам сваки дан.
6 Remember thy mercies, O Lord, and thy kindnesses; for they are from everlasting.
Опомени се милосрђа свог, Господе, и милости своје; јер су откако је века.
7 The sins of my youth and my transgressions do not remember: according to thy kindness bear thou me in remembrance, for the sake of thy goodness, O Lord.
Грехова младости моје, и мојих преступа не помињи; по милости својој помени мене, ради доброте своје, Господе!
8 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore he pointeth out to sinners the right way.
Добар је и праведан Господ; тога ради показује грешницима пут.
9 He guideth the meek in justice, and he teacheth the meek his way.
Упућује кротке истини, учи кротке ходити путем Његовим.
10 All the paths of the Lord are kindness and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Сви су путеви Господњи милост и истина онима који држе завет Његов и откривење Његово.
11 For the sake of thy name, O Lord, pardon my iniquity: although it is great.
Ради имена свог, Господе, опрости грех мој, јер је велик.
12 Who is that man that feareth the Lord? to him will he point out the way which he is to choose?
Који се човек боји Господа? Он ће му показати који пут да изабере.
13 His soul shall abide in happiness: and his seed shall inherit the land.
Душа ће његова у добру почивати, и семе ће његово владати земљом.
14 The secret counsel of the Lord is for those that fear him, and his covenant—to make it known to them.
Тајна је Господња у оних који Га се боје, и завет свој јавља им.
15 My eyes are ever [directed] toward the Lord; for he will draw out of the net my feet.
Очи су ми свагда управљене ка Господу, јер Он извлачи из замке ноге моје.
16 Turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.
Погледај ме и смилуј се на ме, јер сам инокосан и невољник.
17 The distresses of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my afflictions.
Нек се рашири стиснуто срце моје, из тескобе моје извади ме.
18 Look on my misery and my trouble; and forgive all my sins.
Види јаде моје и муку моју, и опрости ми све грехове моје.
19 Look at my enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with the hatred of violence.
Погледај непријатеље моје како их је много и каквом ме пакосном ненавишћу ненавиде.
20 Oh, guard my soul; and deliver me: let me not be put to shame; for I put my trust in thee.
Сачувај душу моју и избави ме; не дај да се осрамотим, јер се у Тебе уздам.
21 Let integrity and uprightness guard me; for I wait on thee.
Безазленост и правда нека ме сачува, јер се у Тебе уздам.
22 Redeem, O God, Israel out of all his distresses.
Избави, Боже, Израиља од свих невоља његових.
