< Psalms 25 >

1 “Of David.” Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Eri ggwe, Ayi Mukama, gye ndeeta okusaba kwange.
2 O my God, in thee do I trust, let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.
Neesiga ggwe, Ayi Mukama, tondeka kuswala mu maaso g’abalabe bange. Tobaganya kumpangula.
3 Yea, none that wait on thee will be put to shame: let those be put to shame who deal treacherously without cause.
Ddala ddala abakwesiga tebaajulirirenga, naye ab’enkwe baliswazibwa.
4 Show me, O Lord, thy ways; teach me thy paths.
Njigiriza nga bwe nnaakolanga, Ayi Mukama, ondage amakubo go mwe nnaatambuliranga.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation: on thee do I wait all the day.
Onjigirizenga okunywerera ku mazima go, era onkulemberenga mu byonna; kubanga ggwe Katonda, ow’obulokozi bwange era essuubi lyange liri mu ggwe olunaku lwonna.
6 Remember thy mercies, O Lord, and thy kindnesses; for they are from everlasting.
Jjukira, Ayi Mukama, okusaasira kwo okunene, n’okwagala kwo okungi, kubanga byava dda.
7 The sins of my youth and my transgressions do not remember: according to thy kindness bear thou me in remembrance, for the sake of thy goodness, O Lord.
Tojjukira bibi byange n’obujeemu bwange eby’omu buvubuka bwange. Onzijukire, Ayi Mukama, ng’okwagala kwo gye ndi bwe kuli, kubanga oli mulungi.
8 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore he pointeth out to sinners the right way.
Mukama mulungi, era wa mazima, noolwekyo ayigiriza aboonoonyi ekkubo lye.
9 He guideth the meek in justice, and he teacheth the meek his way.
Abawombeefu abaluŋŋamya mu kkubo ettuufu n’abayigiriza ekkubo lye.
10 All the paths of the Lord are kindness and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Amakubo ga Mukama gonna gajjudde okwagala n’amazima eri abo abagondera endagaano ye n’ebiragiro bye.
11 For the sake of thy name, O Lord, pardon my iniquity: although it is great.
Olw’erinnya lyo, Ayi Mukama, onsonyiwe ebibi byange, kubanga bingi.
12 Who is that man that feareth the Lord? to him will he point out the way which he is to choose?
Omuntu wa ngeri ki atya Katonda? Oyo gw’anaayigirizanga okukwata ekkubo lye yamulondera.
13 His soul shall abide in happiness: and his seed shall inherit the land.
Obulamu bwe bunajjuzibwanga emikisa gya Katonda, era bazzukulu be ensi eriba yaabwe.
14 The secret counsel of the Lord is for those that fear him, and his covenant—to make it known to them.
Mikwano gya Mukama be bo abamugondera; anaababikkuliranga ekyama eky’endagaano ye.
15 My eyes are ever [directed] toward the Lord; for he will draw out of the net my feet.
Ntunuulira Mukama buli kiseera, kubanga yekka y’anzigya mu kabi.
16 Turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.
Nkyukira, Ayi Mukama, onkwatirwe ekisa, kubanga nsigadde bw’omu, era ndi munafu.
17 The distresses of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my afflictions.
Obuyinike bweyongedde mu mutima gwange; mponya okweraliikirira kwange.
18 Look on my misery and my trouble; and forgive all my sins.
Tunuulira ennaku endiko, weetegereze obulumi bwange; onzigyeko ebibi byange byonna.
19 Look at my enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with the hatred of violence.
Laba abalabe bange nga bwe beeyongedde obungi n’okunkyawa kwe bankyawamu!
20 Oh, guard my soul; and deliver me: let me not be put to shame; for I put my trust in thee.
Labiriranga obulamu bwange, obamponye; tondekanga mu buswavu, kubanga ggwe kiddukiro kyange.
21 Let integrity and uprightness guard me; for I wait on thee.
Amazima n’obulongoofu bindabirirenga, essubi lyange liri mu ggwe.
22 Redeem, O God, Israel out of all his distresses.
Nunula Isirayiri, Ayi Katonda, omuwonye emitawaana gye gyonna.
