< Psalms 24 >
1 “Of David a psalm.” Unto the Lord belongeth the earth with what filleth it, the world and they that dwell therein;
Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Ensi ya Mukama n’ebigirimu byonna, n’ensi zonna n’abo abazibeeramu.
2 For upon seas hath he founded it, and upon rivers hath he established it.
Kubanga yasimba emisingi gyayo mu nnyanja, n’agizimba ku mazzi amangi.
3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord? and who shall be able to stand in his holy place?
Alyambuka ku lusozi lwa Mukama ye afaanana atya? Era wa ngeri ki aliyingira n’ayimirira mu nnyumba ye entukuvu?
4 He that is of clean hands, and pure of heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, and hath not sworn deceitfully:
Oyo alina omutima omulongoofu, nga n’emikono gye mirongoofu; atasinza bakatonda abalala, era atalayirira bwereere.
5 He shall bear away blessing from the Lord, and [the reward of] righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Oyo Mukama anaamuwanga omukisa, n’obutuukirivu okuva eri Katonda ow’obulokozi bwe.
6 This is the generation of those that adore him, that seek thy presence, [the sons of] Jacob. (Selah)
Ogwo gwe mulembe gw’abo abakunoonya, Ayi Katonda wa Yakobo.
7 Raise your heads, O ye gates; and be raised wide, ye everlasting doors: and let the King of glory enter!
Mweggulewo, mmwe bawankaaki! Muggulwewo, mmwe enzigi ez’edda, Kabaka ow’ekitiibwa ayingire.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
Kabaka ow’ekitiibwa ye ani? Ye Mukama ow’amaanyi era ow’obuyinza, omuwanguzi mu ntalo.
9 Raise your heads, O ye gates; and raise [them] up, ye everlasting doors: and let the King of glory enter!
Mweggulewo, mmwe bawankaaki, muggulwewo mmwe enzigi ez’edda! Kabaka ow’ekitiibwa ayingire.
10 Who is then this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. (Selah)
Kabaka ow’ekitiibwa oyo ye ani? Mukama Ayinzabyonna; oyo ye Kabaka ow’ekitiibwa.
