< Psalms 24 >
1 “Of David a psalm.” Unto the Lord belongeth the earth with what filleth it, the world and they that dwell therein;
David ƒe ha. Anyigba kple nu siwo katã yɔ edzi, xexea me kple emenɔlawo katã nye Yehowa tɔ.
2 For upon seas hath he founded it, and upon rivers hath he established it.
Elabena eɖoe anyi ɖe atsiaƒu dzi, eye wòɖo egɔme anyi ɖe tɔsisiwo dzi gli.
3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord? and who shall be able to stand in his holy place?
Ame kae alia Yehowa ƒe togbɛ? Ame kae atsi tsitre ɖe eƒe kɔkɔeƒe la?
4 He that is of clean hands, and pure of heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, and hath not sworn deceitfully:
Ame si ƒe asi me dza, eye eƒe dzi me le dzadzɛe, ame si metsɔ eƒe luʋɔ na legba o, eye mekaa aʋatso heta nu dzodzro o.
5 He shall bear away blessing from the Lord, and [the reward of] righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Eya axɔ yayra tso Yehowa gbɔ, eye Mawu, eƒe Ɖela la, atso afia nɛ.
6 This is the generation of those that adore him, that seek thy presence, [the sons of] Jacob. (Selah)
O! Yakob ƒe Mawu, aleae dzidzime si dia wò, eye wòdia ŋkuwòme la le. (Sela)
7 Raise your heads, O ye gates; and be raised wide, ye everlasting doors: and let the King of glory enter!
O! Mi agbowo, miʋu; mi blemaʋɔtruwo, miʋu, ne Ŋutikɔkɔefia la nage ɖe eme.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
Ame kae nye Ŋutikɔkɔefia la? Yehowa ŋusẽtɔ kple kalẽtɔ lae, Yehowa si wɔa kalẽ le aʋagbedzi lae.
9 Raise your heads, O ye gates; and raise [them] up, ye everlasting doors: and let the King of glory enter!
O! Mi agbowo, miʋu; mi blemaʋɔtruwo, miʋu, ne Ŋutikɔkɔefia la nage ɖe eme.
10 Who is then this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. (Selah)
