Psalms 22
1 “To the chief musician upon Ayeleth-hashachar, a psalm of David.” My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from saving me, and from the words of my loud complaint?
౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం, అయ్యలెతు షహరు (జింకల లయ) రాగంలో దావీదు కీర్తన. నా దేవా, నా దేవా, నువ్వు నన్నెందుకు విడిచిపెట్టేశావు? నన్ను రక్షించడానికీ, నా వేదన వాక్కులు వినడానికీ, నువ్వు దూరంగా ఎందుకున్నావు?
2 O my God! I call in the day-time, but thou answerest not; and in the night I find no rest.
౨నా దేవా, పగలు నేను మొరపెడతాను, కాని నువ్వు జవాబివ్వవు. రాత్రివేళ నేను మౌనంగా ఉండను!
3 But thou art holy, O thou that dwellest amidst the praises of Israel.
౩నువ్వు పవిత్రుడవు. ఇశ్రాయేలు చేసే స్తుతులతో రాజుగా సింహాసనం మీద కూర్చుని ఉంటావు.
4 In thee did our fathers trust: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
౪మా పితరులు నీలో నమ్మకం ఉంచారు. నువ్వు వాళ్ళను రక్షించావు.
5 Unto thee they cried, and were delivered: in thee they trusted, and were not put to shame.
౫వాళ్ళు నీకు మొరపెట్టినప్పుడు విడుదల పొందారు. వాళ్ళు నీలో నమ్మకం ఉంచి నిరుత్సాహపడలేదు.
6 But I am a worm, and not a man, a reproach of men, and despised of people.
౬కాని నేను మనిషిని కాదు. పురుగును. మనుషుల ద్వేషం అనుభవించాను, మానవాళికి అవమానంగా ఉన్నాను.
7 All those who see me laugh me to scorn: they draw open their lips, they shake their head, [saying, ]
౭నన్ను చూసిన వాళ్ళందరూ నన్ను ఆక్షేపిస్తున్నారు. నన్ను వెక్కిరిస్తూ, నన్ను చూసి తలలు ఆడిస్తున్నారు.
8 “Let him throw himself on the Lord, that he may deliver him: he will save him, for he delighteth in him.”
౮అతడు యెహోవాలో నమ్మకం పెట్టుకున్నాడు, యెహోవా అతన్ని రక్షించనివ్వండి. అతడు ఆయనలో ఆనందిస్తున్నాడు గనక యెహోవా అతన్ని రక్షించనివ్వండి, అని వాళ్ళు అంటున్నారు.
9 Yea, thou art he that took me from the womb: thou hast been my trust when I hung on my mother's breasts.
౯ఎందుకంటే గర్భంలోనుంచి నన్ను తీసిన వాడివి నువ్వే. నేను నా తల్లి రొమ్ములపై ఉన్నప్పుడే నీపై నమ్మకం పుట్టించావు.
10 Upon thee was I cast from my birth: from my mother's womb art thou my God.
౧౦గర్భంలో ఉండగానే నేను నీ మీద ఆధారపడ్డాను. నేను నా తల్లి కడుపులో ఉన్నప్పటినుంచి నువ్వే నా దేవుడివి.
11 Oh be not far from me [now]; for distress is near; for there is none to help.
౧౧ఆపద ముంచుకు వచ్చింది. నాకు దూరంగా ఉండకు. నాకు సహాయం చేసేవాళ్ళు లేరు.
12 Many steers have encompassed me: the strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
౧౨చాలా ఎద్దులు, బలమైన బాషాను దేశపు వృషభాలు నన్ను చుట్టుముట్టాయి.
13 They have opened wide against me their mouth, [as] a ravenous and roaring lion.
౧౩వేటను చీలుస్తూ, గర్జిస్తూ ఉన్న సింహంలాగా వాళ్ళు తమ నోళ్లు పెద్దగా తెరిచారు.
14 Like water am I poured out, and all my bones are disjointed: my heart is become like wax, it is melted in the midst of my entrails.
౧౪నన్ను నీళ్ళలా పారబోస్తున్నారు. నా ఎముకలన్నీ స్థానం తప్పాయి. నా హృదయం మైనంలా ఉంది. నా అంతర్భాగాల్లో అది కరిగిపోతూ ఉంది.
15 Like a potsherd is my strength dried up; and my tongue cleaveth to my palate; and into the dust of death hast thou laid me down.
౧౫నా బలం చిల్లపెంకులా ఎండిపోయింది. నా నాలుక నా దవడకు అంటుకుంటూ ఉంది. మరణ ధూళిలో నువ్వు నన్ను పడుకోబెట్టావు.
16 For dogs have encompassed me; the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: like lions [they threaten] my hands and my feet.
౧౬కుక్కలు నన్ను చుట్టుముట్టాయి, దుష్టులు గుంపుగూడి నన్ను ఆవరించారు. వాళ్ళు నా చేతులను నా పాదాలను పొడిచారు.
17 I may number all my bones: [while] they stare and look upon me.
౧౭నా ఎముకలన్నీ నేను లెక్కపెట్టగలను. వాళ్ళు నా వైపు తేరి చూస్తున్నారు.
18 They divide my clothes among themselves, and for my garment do they cast lots.
౧౮నా వస్త్రాలు పంచుకుంటున్నారు. నా అంగీ కోసం చీట్లు వేస్తున్నారు.
19 But thou, O Lord, be not far from me: O [thou who art] my strength, hasten to my aid.
౧౯యెహోవా, దూరంగా ఉండకు. నా బలమా, త్వరపడి నాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి.
20 Deliver from the sword my life, from the power of the dog my solitary soul.
౨౦ఖడ్గం నుంచి నా ప్రాణాన్ని, కుక్కల పంజాలనుంచి నా విలువైన ప్రాణాన్ని రక్షించు.
21 Save me from the lion's mouth; as thou hast answered me from the horns of the reem.
౨౧సింహం నోటి నుండి నన్ను రక్షించు. అడవిదున్న కొమ్ములనుంచి నన్ను రక్షించు.
22 I will relate thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
౨౨నీ నామం నా సోదరులకు ప్రచారం చేస్తాను. సమాజం మధ్య నిన్ను స్తుతిస్తాను.
23 Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and be in dread of him, all ye the seed of Israel.
౨౩యెహోవా పట్ల భయం ఉన్నవారలారా, ఆయన్ని స్తుతించండి. యాకోబు వంశస్థులారా, మీరందరూ ఆయన్ని ఘనపరచండి. ఇశ్రాయేలు వంశస్థులారా, మీరందరూ ఆయన్ని చూసి విస్మయం చెందండి.
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the poor; neither hath he hidden his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
౨౪ఆయన బాధపడే వాళ్ళ బాధను తృణీకరించలేదు, వాళ్ళను చూసి ఆయన అసహ్యపడలేదు. అతనినుంచి తన ముఖం దాచుకోలేదు. బాధలో ఉన్నవాడు ఆయనకు మొరపెట్టినప్పుడు ఆయన ఆలకించాడు.
25 Of thee shall be my praise in a great assembly: my vows will I pay in the presence of those who fear him.
౨౫మహా సమాజంలో నీ నుండి నా స్తుతి వస్తుంది. ఆయనపట్ల భయభక్తులు కలిగిన వారి ఎదుట నా మొక్కుబడులు చెల్లిస్తాను.
26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied; they who seek him shall praise the Lord: may your heart live for ever.
౨౬బాధితులు భోజనం చేసి తృప్తి పొందుతారు. యెహోవాను వెదికేవాళ్ళు ఆయనను స్తుతిస్తారు. వారి హృదయాలు శాశ్వతకాలం జీవిస్తాయి గాక.
27 All the ends of the world shall remember and return unto the Lord: and all the families of the nations shall bow themselves down before thee.
౨౭భూనివాసులందరూ జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకుని యెహోవా వైపు తిరుగుతారు. జాతుల కుటుంబాలన్నీ ఆయన ఎదుట వంగి నమస్కారం చేస్తాయి.
28 For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he governeth the nations.
౨౮ఎందుకంటే రాజ్యం యెహోవాదే. జాతులను పాలించేవాడు ఆయనే.
29 All they that eat the fat of the earth shall bow themselves down; before him shall bend the knee all that are going down into the dust; for none can keep alive his own soul.
౨౯భూమి మీద వర్ధిల్లుతున్న వాళ్ళందరూ ఆరాధిస్తారు. తమ సొంత ప్రాణాలు కాపాడుకోలేని వాళ్ళు, మట్టిలోకి దిగిపోతున్న వాళ్ళందరూ ఆయన ఎదుట వంగి నమస్కరిస్తారు.
30 Distant ages shall serve him; there shall be related of the Lord unto future generations.
౩౦రానున్న ఒక తరం వాళ్ళు ఆయన్ని సేవిస్తారు. తమ తరవాతి తరానికి ప్రభువును గురించి చెబుతారు.
31 They will come, and will tell his righteousness unto a people yet unborn, that he hath done this.
౩౧వాళ్ళు వచ్చి ఆయన న్యాయ విధానం గురించి చెబుతారు. ఆయన క్రియలను ఇంకా పుట్టని వారికి చెబుతారు!
