Psalms 20

1 “To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” May the Lord answer thee on the day of distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;

၁ဘေးအန္တရာယ်ရောက်သောကာလ၌၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ကိုယ်တော်စကားကို နားထောင်၍၊ ယာကုပ် ၏ ဘုရားသခင်နာမတော်သည် ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူပါစေ သော။

2 May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and support thee from Zion;

၂သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနတော်ထဲက ကူညီ၍၊ ဇိအုန် တောင်ပေါ်က ထောက်ပင့်တော်မူပါစေသော။

3 May he remember all thy meat-offerings, and accept in favor thy burnt-sacrifice. (Selah)

၃ကိုယ်တော်၏ ပူဇော်သက္ကာအလုံးစုံတို့ကို အောက်မေ့၍၊ မီးရှို့သောယဇ်ကို လက်ခံတော်မူပါစေ သော။

4 May he grant thee according to thy own heart, and fulfill all thy resolves.

၄ကိုယ်တော်၏ စိတ်အလိုရှိသည်အတိုင်း ပေး သနား၍၊ အကြံအစည်တော်ရှိသမျှတို့ကို ပြည့်စုံစေခြင်းငှါ ပြုတော်မူပါစေသော။

5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we upraise our banners: may the Lord fulfill all thy petitions.

၅ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် ဝမ်းမြောက်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အခွင့်နှင့် အလံကို ထူကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကိုယ်တော်ဆုတောင်းသမျှအတိုင်း ကျေးဇူးပြု တော်မူပါ စေသော။

6 Now I know that the Lord saveth his anointed: he will answer him from his holy heavens, with the saving strength of his right hand.

၆ထာဝရဘုရားပေးတော်မူ၍ ဘိသိက်ခံသောသူ အား၊ ကယ်တင်တော်မူကြောင်းကို၎င်း၊ လက်ျာလက်တော် ကယ်တင်ခြင်း အစွန်းနှင့် ထိုသူ၏ စကားကိုသန့်ရှင်း သော ကောင်းကင်ပေါ်မှာ နားထောင်တော်မူကြောင်းကို၎င်း ယခုငါသိ၏။

7 Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses; but we will invoke the name of the Lord our God.

၇အချို့သောသူတို့သည် ရထားကို၎င်း၊ အချို့တို့ သည် မြင်းကို၎င်း၊ ချီးမွမ်းတတ်ကြ၏။ ငါတို့မူကား၊ ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင်တည်းဟူသော ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမ တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းကြလိမ့်မည်။

8 They are prostrate and fallen; but we are risen up and stand erect.

၈သူတို့သည်နှိမ့်ချ၍ လဲလျက်ရှိကြ၏။ ငါတို့မူကား၊ ထ၍ မတ်တတ်နေကြ၏။ အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား၊ မင်းကြီးကို ကယ်တင်တော်မူပါ။

9 O Lord, save [us]: may the king answer us on the day when we call [on him].

၉အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ခေါ်သောအခါ နားထောင်တော် မူပါ။
