Psalms 19
1 “To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” The heavens relate the glory of God; and the expanse telleth of the works of his hands.
೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಆಕಾಶವು ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚುರಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಗಗನವು ಆತನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.
೨ದಿನವು ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು; ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ರಾತ್ರಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು.
3 There is no speech, there are no words, their voice is not heard.
೩ಶಬ್ದವಿಲ್ಲ, ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವುಗಳ ಸ್ವರ ಕೇಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
4 [But] their melody extendeth through all the earth, and to the end of the world their words. For the sun hath he set a tabernacle among them;
೪ಆದರೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಸರಿಸಿದೆ; ಅವುಗಳ ನುಡಿಗಳು ಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
5 And he goeth out as a bridegroom from his chamber, he is glad like a strong man to run his course;
೫ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಂಟಪದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಮದಲಿಂಗನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಹೊರಟುಬರುವನು. ಅವನು ಶೂರನಂತೆ ತನಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
6 From the end of the heavens is his going forth, and his circuit is unto their ends: and there is nothing hidden from his heat.
೬ಆಕಾಶದ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಬಿಸಿಲಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾದದ್ದು ಒಂದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, quieting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
೭ಯೆಹೋವನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಲೋಪವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದು; ಅದು ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜೀವಿಸಮಾಡುವಂಥದ್ದು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳು ನಂಬಿಕೆಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು; ಅವು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರಿಗೆ ವಿವೇಕಪ್ರದವಾಗಿದೆ.
8 The precepts of the Lord are upright, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes.
೮ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳು ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳವುಗಳಾಗಿವೆ; ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹರ್ಷಪಡಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದದ್ದು; ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring for ever: the ordinances of the Lord are the truth, they are just altogether.
೯ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಯ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅದು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದದ್ದೇ. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದವುಗಳು; ಅವು ಕೇವಲ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿವೆ.
10 They are those which are to be desired more than gold, and much fine gold; and they are sweeter than honey and the dropping of honeycomb.
೧೦ಅವು ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ, ಅಪರಂಜಿರಾಶಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸತಕ್ಕವುಗಳು. ಅವು ಜೇನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ, ಶೋಧಿಸಿದ ಜೇನುತುಪ್ಪಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಸಿಹಿಯಾಗಿವೆ.
11 Moreover thy servant is admonished by them: in keeping them there is great reward.
೧೧ಅವುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನಿಗೆ ವಿವೇಚನೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಿಂದ ಬಹಳ ಫಲ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
12 Who can guard against errors? from secret [faults] do thou cleanse me.
೧೨ತನ್ನ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಯಾರು? ಮರೆಯಾದ ದೋಷಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಲಮಾಡು.
13 Also from presumptuous [sins] withhold thy servant; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be blameless, and I shall be clear from any great transgression.
೧೩ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಾಪಮಾಡದಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು. ಅಂಥ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಳದಿರಲಿ. ಆಗ ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ ಮಹಾದ್ರೋಹಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
14 May the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable before thee, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನೇ, ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಧ್ಯಾನವೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
