Psalms 16
1 “A Michtham of David.” Preserve me, O God; for I have placed my trust in thee.
| پاڕانەوەیەکی داود. ئەی خودایە، بمپارێزە، چونکە من پەنا دەهێنمە بەر تۆ. |
2 [O my soul], thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my happiness is not without thee;
| بە یەزدانم گوت: «تۆ گەورەی منی، بێجگە لە تۆ هیچ شتێکی چاکم نییە.» |
3 [But] in the saints who are on the earth, and in the excellent—in them is all my delight.
| هەموو خۆشییەکم بە گەلە پیرۆزەکەیە کە لەناو خاکەکەن، ئەوانە شکۆدارن. |
4 Multiplied shall be the sorrows of those who give presents to another god: I will not pour out their drink-offerings of blood, nor bear their names upon my lips.
| ئەوانەی بەدوای خوداوەندەکانی دیکە دەکەون، دەردیان زۆر دەبێت. خوێنی قوربانییان بۆ ناڕێژم و ناویشیان لەسەر لێوم نابێت. |
5 Thou, O Lord, art the portion of my inheritance, and my cup; thou hast drawn my lot.
| ئەی یەزدان، تۆ بەشە میرات و چارەنووسی منی، تۆ پشکی من دەستەبەر دەکەیت. |
6 My possessions are fallen in agreeable places: yea, my heritage is pleasant to me.
| گوریس کەوتە سەر چاکترین خاک بۆ بەشی من، بە ڕاستی میراتێکی دڵخۆشکەرم هەیە. |
7 I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: also in the night seasons my reins admonish me.
| ستایشی یەزدان دەکەم کە ئامۆژگاریم دەکات، تەنانەت بە شەویش دڵم ڕێنماییم دەکات. |
8 I have always set the Lord before me, that, being at my right hand, I might not be moved.
| هەمیشە چاوم لەسەر یەزدانە، لەبەر ئەوەی لەلای دەستی ڕاستمەوەیە، ناهەژێم. |
9 Therefore is rejoiced my heart, and my spirit is glad: also my flesh shall rest in safety.
| بۆیە دڵشادم و گیانم خۆشحاڵە، تەنانەت جەستەم بە ئاسوودەیی نیشتەجێیە، |
10 For thou wilt not abandon my soul to the grave: thou wilt not suffer thy pious [servant] to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)
| چونکە تۆ گیانم لە جیهانی مردوواندا بەجێناهێڵیت، هەروەها ڕێگا نادەیت دڵسۆزەکەی تۆ لەناو گۆڕ بۆگەن بێت. (Sheol h7585) |
11 Thou wilt let me know the path of life: fulness of joy is in thy presence; pleasures are at thy right hand for evermore.
| ڕێگای ژیانت پێ ناساندم، تێربوون لە شادی لە ئامادەبوونتدایە، خۆشحاڵی هەتاهەتایی لەلای دەستەڕاستی تۆدایە. |
