1 Hallelujah. Praise ye God in his sanctuary: praise him in the expansion of his power.

Hallelujah! Looft God in Zijn heiligdom; looft Hem in het uitspansel Zijner sterkte!

2 Praise him for his acts of might: praise him according to the abundance of his greatness.

Looft Hem vanwege Zijn mogendheden; looft Hem naar de menigvuldigheid Zijner grootheid!

3 Praise him with the blowing of the cornet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Looft Hem met geklank der bazuin; looft Hem met de luit en met de harp!

4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and pipe.

Looft Hem met de trommel en fluit; looft Hem met snarenspel en orgel!

5 Praise him upon the clear-ringing cymbals: praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals.

Looft Hem met hel klinkende cimbalen; looft Hem met cimbalen van vreugdegeluid! (questioned)
