< Psalms 15 >

1 “A psalm of David.” Lord, who may sojourn in thy tent? who may dwell on thy holy mount?
Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Ayi Mukama, ani anaabeeranga mu nnyumba yo? Ani anaatuulanga ku lusozi lwo olutukuvu?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart;
Oyo ataliiko kya kunenyezebwa, akola eby’obutuukirivu, era ayogera eby’amazima nga biviira ddala mu mutima gwe.
3 That uttereth no calumny with his tongue, that doth no evil to his neighbor, and bringeth no reproach on his fellow-man;
Olulimi lwe talwogeza bya bulimba, era mikwano gye tagiyisa bubi, so tasaasaanya ŋŋambo ku baliraanwa be.
4 In whose eyes the despicable is despised; but that honoreth those who fear the Lord; that sweareth to his own injury, and changeth not;
Anyooma ababi, naye abatya Mukama abassaamu ekitiibwa. Atuukiriza ky’asuubiza ne bwe kiba nga kimulumya.
5 That putteth not out his money for interest, and taketh no bribe against the innocent. He that doth these things shall not be moved to eternity.
Bw’awola tasaba magoba; so takkiriza kulya nguzi ku muntu yenna. Oyo akola ebyo aliba munywevu emirembe gyonna.
