Psalms 149

1 Hallelujah. Sing unto the Lord a new song, his praise in the congregation of the pious.

யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள். யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒரு புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடுங்கள், பரிசுத்தவான்களின் சபையிலே அவருடைய துதியைப் பாடுங்கள்.

2 Let Israel rejoice in his Maker: let the children of Zion exult in their King.

இஸ்ரயேலர் தங்களைப் படைத்தவரில் மகிழட்டும்; சீயோனின் மக்கள் தங்கள் அரசரில் களிகூரட்டும்.

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: with the timbrel and harp let them sing praises unto him.

அவர்கள் யெகோவாவினுடைய பெயரை நடனத்தோடு துதிக்கட்டும், தம்புராவினாலும் யாழினாலும் அவருக்கு இசை மீட்டட்டும்.

4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people; he will adorn the meek with salvation.

ஏனெனில் யெகோவா தம்முடைய மக்களில் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கிறார்; தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களை அவர் இரட்சிப்பினால் முடிசூட்டுகிறார்.

5 Let the pious be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their couches.

பரிசுத்தவான்கள் இந்த மகிமையில் களிகூர்ந்து தங்கள் படுக்கைகளில் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் பாடுவார்கள்.

6 The exalted praises of God are in their mouth, and a two-edged sword is in their hand;

அவர்களுடைய வாய்களில் இறைவனின் துதியும், கைகளில் இருபக்கமும் கூர்மையுள்ள வாளும் இருப்பதாக.

7 To execute vengeance on the nations, and chastisements on the people:

அவைகளினால் நாடுகளைப் பழிவாங்கவும், மக்கள் கூட்டத்தைத் தண்டிக்கவும்,

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron:

அவர்களுடைய அரசர்களைச் சங்கலிகளாலும், அவர்களுடைய அதிகாரிகளை இரும்பு விலங்குகளினாலும் கட்டவும்,

9 To execute upon them the judgment [which is] written: this is an honor for all his pious servants. Hallelujah.

அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக எழுதப்பட்ட நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை நடைமுறைப்படுத்தவும் அவை இருப்பதாக. இதுவே அவருடைய எல்லா பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கும் உரிய மகிமை. யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்.
