< Psalms 149 >

1 Hallelujah. Sing unto the Lord a new song, his praise in the congregation of the pious.
Mutendereze Mukama! Muyimbire Mukama oluyimba oluggya, mumutenderereze wamu n’ekibiina ky’abatukuvu.
2 Let Israel rejoice in his Maker: let the children of Zion exult in their King.
Isirayiri asanyukirenga eyamutonda; n’abantu ba Sayuuni bajagulize Kabaka waabwe!
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: with the timbrel and harp let them sing praises unto him.
Batenderezenga erinnya lye nga bwe bazina, bamutenderezenga nga bwe bakuba ennanga n’ebitaasa.
4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people; he will adorn the meek with salvation.
Kubanga Mukama asanyukira abantu be, n’abawombeefu abawa engule ey’obulokozi.
5 Let the pious be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their couches.
Abatuukirivu bajagulizenga mu kitiibwa kino; bayimbire ku bitanda byabwe olw’essanyu.
6 The exalted praises of God are in their mouth, and a two-edged sword is in their hand;
Batenderezenga Katonda waabwe, bakwate ekitala eky’obwogi obubiri,
7 To execute vengeance on the nations, and chastisements on the people:
bawoolere eggwanga, babonereze n’amawanga,
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron:
bateeke bakabaka baago mu njegere, n’abakungu baago babasibe amagulu n’ebyuma,
9 To execute upon them the judgment [which is] written: this is an honor for all his pious servants. Hallelujah.
babasalire omusango ogwabawandiikirwa. Kino kye kitiibwa ky’abatukuvu be bonna. Mutendereze Mukama.
