Psalms 148

1 Hallelujah. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

Halleluja. Chwalcie Pana na niebiosach; chwalcież go na wysokościach.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

Chwalcie go wszyscy Aniołowie jego; chwalcie go wszystkie wojska jego.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

Chwalcie go słońce i miesiącu; chwalcie go wszystkie jasne gwiazdy.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.

Chwalcie go niebiosa nad niebiosami, i wody, które są nad niebem.

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord; for he commanded and they were created.

Chwalcie imię Pańskie; albowiem on rozkazał, a stworzone są.

6 And he established them for ever and to eternity: he gave a decree which none shall transgress.

I wystawił je na wieki wieczne; założył im kres, którego nie przestępują.

7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;

Chwalcie Pana na ziemi, smoki i wszystkie przepaści.

8 Fire, and hail, snow, and vapor; thou storm-wind that fulfillest his word;

Ogień i grad, śnieg i para, wiatr gwałtowny, wykonywający rozkaz jego;

9 Ye mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars;

Góry, i wszystkie pagórki, drzewa rodzaje, i wszystkie cedry;

10 Ye beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and winged birds;

Zwierzęta, i wszystko bydło, gadziny, i ptastwo skrzydlaste.

11 Ye kings of the earth, and all nations; ye princes, and all judges of the earth;

Królowie ziemscy, i wszystkie narody; książęta i wszyscy sędziowie ziemi;

12 Young men and also virgins; old men, together with boys: —

Młodzieńcy, także i panny, starzy i młodzi,

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord; for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven.

Chwalcie imię Pańskie; albowiem wywyższone jest imię jego samego, a chwała jego nad ziemią i niebem.

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, a praise unto all his pious servants, [even] unto the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Hallelujah.

I wywyższył róg ludu swego, chwałę wszystkich świętych jego, mianowicie synów Izraelskich, ludu jemu najbliższego. Halleluja.
