Psalms 146

1 Hallelujah. Praise, O my soul, the Lord.

Аллилуия. Аггея и Захарии. Хвали, душа моя, Господа.

2 I will praise the Lord throughout my life: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

Буду восхвалять Господа, доколе жив; буду петь Богу моему, доколе есмь.

3 Put not your trust in princes, in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

Не надейтесь на князей, на сына человеческого, в котором нет спасения.

4 When his spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his [native] earth: on that very day perish his thoughts.

Выходит дух его, и он возвращается в землю свою: в тот день исчезают все помышления его.

5 [But] happy is he who hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is on the Lord his God;

Блажен, кому помощник Бог Иаковлев, у кого надежда на Господа Бога его,

6 Who hath made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that is therein; who keepeth truth for ever;

сотворившего небо и землю, море и все, что в них, вечно хранящего верность,

7 Who executeth justice for the oppressed: who giveth bread to the hungry: the Lord looseneth the prisoners;

творящего суд обиженным, дающего хлеб алчущим. Господь разрешает узников,

8 The Lord causeth the blind to see; the Lord raiseth up those who are bowed down; the Lord loveth the righteous:

Господь отверзает очи слепым, Господь восставляет согбенных, Господь любит праведных.

9 The Lord guardeth the strangers; the fatherless and widow he helpeth up; but the way of the wicked he maketh crooked.

Господь хранит пришельцев, поддерживает сироту и вдову, а путь нечестивых извращает.

10 The Lord will reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Hallelujah.

Господь будет царствовать во веки, Бог твой, Сион, в род и род. Аллилуия.
