Psalms 146

1 Hallelujah. Praise, O my soul, the Lord.

൧ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ; എൻ മനമേ, യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുക.

2 I will praise the Lord throughout my life: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

൨ആയുഷ്ക്കാലം മുഴുവൻ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; ഞാൻ ഉള്ള കാലത്തോളം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിനു കീർത്തനം ചെയ്യും.

3 Put not your trust in princes, in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

൩നിങ്ങൾ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കരുത്; സഹായിക്കുവാൻ കഴിയാത്ത മനുഷ്യപുത്രനിലും അരുത്.

4 When his spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his [native] earth: on that very day perish his thoughts.

൪അവന്റെ ശ്വാസം പോകുന്നു; അവൻ മണ്ണിലേക്കു മടങ്ങുന്നു; അന്ന് തന്നെ അവന്റെ നിരൂപണങ്ങൾ നശിക്കുന്നു.

5 [But] happy is he who hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is on the Lord his God;

൫യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം സഹായമായി തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയിൽ പ്രത്യാശയുള്ളവൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

6 Who hath made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that is therein; who keepeth truth for ever;

൬ദൈവം ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സമുദ്രവും അവയിലുള്ള സകലവും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; കർത്താവ് എന്നേക്കും വിശ്വസ്തനായിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 Who executeth justice for the oppressed: who giveth bread to the hungry: the Lord looseneth the prisoners;

൭പീഡിതന്മാർക്ക് ദൈവം ന്യായം പാലിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു; വിശപ്പുള്ളവർക്ക് ദൈവം ആഹാരം നല്കുന്നു; യഹോവ ബദ്ധന്മാർക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നൽകുന്നു.

8 The Lord causeth the blind to see; the Lord raiseth up those who are bowed down; the Lord loveth the righteous:

൮യഹോവ കുരുടന്മാർക്ക് കാഴ്ച കൊടുക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നിവിർത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

9 The Lord guardeth the strangers; the fatherless and widow he helpeth up; but the way of the wicked he maketh crooked.

൯യഹോവ പരദേശികളെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു; കർത്താവ് അനാഥനെയും വിധവയെയും സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വഴി ദൈവം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

10 The Lord will reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Hallelujah.

൧൦യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴും; സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം തലമുറതലമുറയോളം തന്നെ. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ.
